Michigan State football continues to build its 2020 class.
On Monday, Catawissa (Pa.), Cal-Haladay, South Columbia's back-lineer, announced on Twitter that he intends to play football for USU.
It was reported that MSU reported the 6 foot pound, 197 pounds, in late May and visited the East Lansing campus in early June, according to 247 Sports. Haladay selected the Spartans over offerings from Michigan, Nebraska and Pittsburgh, among others, according to the report.
Haladay is not classified in the 247Sports Composite ratings but Rivals.com rating it as the best player in Pennsylvania.
It is the seventh verbal commitment for USC for 2020 and the third defensive player, consistent with Darius Snow's safety and the defense of Kyle King.
