Bible Dedication in Honor of Shasta Brown: Many of us are marking the return of Spring this year by remembering the last season of Shasta’s life last spring as she battled cancer. Today, we dedicate new pew bibles in gratitude for her life and her ministry among us from 2001-2018. In her life and ministry she gave witness to the prayer of the psalmist, “Your word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path.” (119:105)

Would you like to be a part of the conversation about the future of Youth Ministry at FPCMA? Are you interested in dreaming about how we can draw on the strengths of our small church to craft a vibrant ministry to our youth? If so, please join a group of parents who have had, do have, or will have middle and high school students in reading and discussing Sticky Faith. This book will help us to identify the relationships and best practices in youth ministries, churches, and families that can help set students on a trajectory of lifelong faith and service. Sticky Faith gives parents and leaders both a theological/philosophical framework and a host of practical relationship and programming ideas that develop long-term faith in teenagers. If you are interested, please email Griff at email@example.com.
