Martinez confirms Lukaku will miss Man Utd clash with Wolves and is 50/50 for Belgium duty
ROMELU LUKAKU is out of Manchester United’s FA Cup clash with Wolves, Belgium boss Roberto Martinez has confirmed.
SunSport exclusively revealed the striker was a major doubt for the quarter-final at Molineux with a foot injury.
The 25-year-old has been in red hot form with six goals in his last four games and his absence will be a major blow for Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.
Lukaku first picked up the problem against Paris Saint-Germain when he scored two goals during United’s incredible comeback.
The ex-Chelsea man was able to play against Arsenal at the weekend but the injury flared up during the 2-0 defeat at the Emirates.
The forward has been named in the Belgium squad for their upcoming fixtures against Russia and Cyprus, and his national team boss is hopeful he can recover to feature in the double-header.

Martinez said: “The chance he gets fit (for Belgium) is 50/50.
“He can’t play there (at Wolves) this weekend.
“We have faith that his situation can change rapidly. Monday we decide.”
It is another injury for caretaker boss Solskjaer to juggle, with Alexis Sanchez, Jesse Lingard and Juan Mata among his other attackers who have been crocked.
But Anthony Martial returned to the squad last weekend and is a contender to start up front at Molineux.
