Expect warm weather, and maybe some rain, Easter weekend: Forecast
If you have big plans during this Easter weekend, you might be in luck.
Despite a chilly start to the week that saw a few flurries fall in London Monday morning, Environment Canada is forecasting a surge in temperatures for the second half of the week, including this holiday weekend.
Before the warmer air comes through the region, however, Londoners will have to brace the chilly weather one more day, as the federal agency is forecasting a daytime high of 7 C for Tuesday. That’s well below the average high temperature for this time of the year of almost 12 C and will also be coupled with a few showers.
The rain is expected to continue all the way through Friday, but more comfortable temperatures are also in store. Environment Canada’s forecast is projecting daytime highs of 13 C on Wednesday, 19 C on Thursday and 10 C on Friday.
Though some rain may be still possible Saturday, there will also be a mix of sun and cloud that day and the mercury will rise to the 12 C mark.
A mix of sun and cloud is also expected for Sunday and Monday, which will see daytime highs of 17 C and 18 C respectively.
