Prince Harry and Meghan have been outranked by Prince William and Kate in a who’s who of the most ‘socially significant’ people.

In addition, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex have also been eclipsed by Harper Beckham, aged seven, and former footballer Jamie Redknapp.

The new parents failed to make the top ten Social Power Index, compiled by society bible Tatler.

The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge top the list, followed by Idris Elba and wife Sabrina Dhowre.

David and Victoria Beckham’s young daughter comes in fourth place – higher than her parents and a host of other bigger names.

She is described as a ‘front-row fixture’ who ‘jets between Los Angeles, London and the Cotswolds’.

Tatler described an invite to Kate and Wills’ Kensington Palace home as the ‘ultimate social trophy’.

While Harry and Meghan failed to make the top ten, they were ‘crowned the king and queen of global glamour’.

News of the list came after it emerged that taxpayers have forked out £2.4 million to renovate Frogmore Cottage.
