Stormzy’s popularity has continued to grow over the last couple of years, and he recently secured his first number-one single with Vossi Bop.

The song was released on 25 April and it peaked at the top of the UK Singles Chart.

Despite it being over a month since the song came out, it is still going strong and currently sits fourth in the official UK chart.

The song has sold over 400,000 copies and it has also seen success in Ireland, Scotland, Belgium and Sweden.

If you’re wondering what a vossi bop actually is, then here is everything that you need to know.

What is a vossi bop?

A vossi bop is simply a dance move, and it’s not a particularly complicated one either.

It involves leaning in and bopping your body to the beat of the music that you are listening to.

The phrase originates from a Twitter user could Vossi who first showed the dance online in 2015.

When Stormzy released the single, Vossi uploaded a new video to his Twitter account showing how to do the Vossi bop.

The move soon went viral on social media, and it helped inspire the popular Stormzy hit, but the song isn’t directly about the dance craze.

It did give Stormzy some inspiration for the song and he said that he had originally created it a few years ago.

The opening line is ‘my bruddas don’t dab, we just Vossi bop’, but for much of the song he talks about himself, his success and his relationships with women.

The music video also includes an appearance by Idris Elba, who is menionted in the song.
