Little Mix's stars, Perrie Edwards and Jesy Nelson, reveal that they are not strangers to a boozy snog
WHEN Mel B dropped the bomb she had with Geri Halliwell, which provoked a big fight between the Spice Girls, just weeks before their re-entry tour.
But there is no danger of a similar rift stirring Little Mix – which exclusively reveal that Perrie Edwards and Jesy Nelson are no strangers to a buzzy snook.
The group of four musicians, including Jade Thirlwall and Leigh-Anne Pinnock, rocked Radio 1's Big Weekend in Middlesbrough on Sunday night. And in a behind-the-scenes conversation, they talked about their racy antics.
When asked if there had ever been anything sexual between them, Perrie replied, "Of course."
"Jesy and I meet each other all the time, especially when we're drunk."
Rolling her eyes, Jesy said, "My God, fans would like that. . . I forgot it! "
Perrie said: "It was funny, but we are like sisters."
It will be a relief for their boyfriends.
Jesy meets Chris Hughes, former candidate for Love Island, while Perrie is with Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, Liverpool player, for almost three years.
During their Big Weekend set, Little Mix created an excerpt from their new single Steady. . . Are you ready?
This marks a new beginning after the turmoil surrounding their fifth studio album, LM5, released in November.
The Sun revealed that the group had left Syco for RCA at about the same time as its release.
Jade said, "It just seemed right, especially to move to the new label. It was like we wanted to do something new.
They recorded the track in Los Angeles earlier this year and shot a video in London earlier this month.
Jesy said, "It happened very quickly. We heard it about two months ago, and as soon as we heard it, we said, "OK, we have it."
"We love it, it's such an atmosphere, it's a summer tune. It was obvious. It's one of those songs that can be played anywhere and makes you want to dance. "
Next month, the group begins its tour in Australia.
Perrie said, "Expect great things. Every time we shoot, we want it to be better than the previous one. And the last one was damn good.
Jesy added, "We have a new team, so it's even more exciting. Everything will be different. It's much more adult.
I wonder how they will be entertained on the road. . .

Miley a sleazy woman
MILEY Cyrus became furious after these giant sunnies disappeared moments before his performance.
The singer had hired a team of 14 people in search of oversized sunglasses, which played a key role in her game.
Insiders behind the scenes revealed that the frantic research team had ended up finding them after discovering that they had fallen by the window.
Fortunately, Miley's outfit was completed just in time for her title, in which she had sung We Can not Stop with Charli XCX.
Miley asked her if she would join her 24 hours earlier. Charlie said, "This tweet came out of nowhere and I thought," Yeah. "We did not repeat, it's very exciting." They did not disappoint.
Ellie is in a good mood
ELLE has played numerous concerts around the world, but singer Ellie Goulding admits she needs some Dutch courage before performing in concert.
Before going on the main stage Sunday night, she said: "In general, I drink a glass or two before going on stage. I am too shy otherwise.
"I'm going to have a vodka soda or something like that, nothing too heavy. I can not drink whiskey. White wine is not really my thing either. I like a gin and tonic. "
But Ellie is not shy about her political views, calling Nigel Farage a "dangerous person".
And although she has announced her engagement with art dealer Caspar Jopling in a newspaper last year, Ellie has trouble sharing details of her personal life on social media.
She said, "It's a difficult balance.
"You want to keep some things for yourself just to stay healthy in mind, but you want the fans to see what you are doing because I see them as a very big part of my life."
Bring me the roles
BRING Me Horizon Group leader Oli Sykes missed a Star Wars cameo.
He had to film for Solo: A Star Wars Story in 2018, but his role was cut.
Jordan Fish, a member of his group, said in an exclusive conversation: "We had already talked about it when you were going to be in Star Wars. I was jealous of that.
Oli explained, "I do not know what, but it was Han Solo's.
"A few weeks before the end of the work, the directors were sacked and everything changed.
"But it's probably for the best because I can not act."
MUMFORD & SONS were not going to have an empty stomach after going out of the scene. Not satisfied with the food on site, they insisted that their own catering team provide them with an assortment of meats and cheeses.
Crazy party of DJs
RADIO 1's DJs were wilder than any of the line-up bands after an evening until 5:00 yesterday.
Greg James, Annie Mac and Nick Grimshaw and Mollie King are out in Middlesbrough.
But a few hours earlier, Grimmy – who was seen behind the scenes with Billie Eilish wearing a balaclava – said his holidays were numbered.
He said, "I just can not drink like before. I feel just too horrible the next day – my face looks weird for two days.
"At 30, the feeling is different from a hangover. It's not like "I have a little headache", it's "I can not get out of bed".
Slices of bacon all around.
STEFFLON Don was the most requested special guest on Sunday. She came out during Jax Jones' set of instructions and then came back on the main stage for the collaborations of Sean Paul, Boasty and Shot & Wine.
James: I have to work hard X-tra
JAMES Arthur believes he is missing price success because of his X Factor baggage.
The singer, who won the Talent Contest in 2012, has been nominated twice for the British single but has not won the gong yet. He feels that he has to work twice as hard as others to be recognized.
In one exclusive interview at the Radio 1 event, he said: "I won the X Factor six years ago and to be successful again, I have to remember how great it is. When you look at the number of people on this show, especially the men, I'm proud of how far we've come.
"But it's a really competitive side that wants to be up there and deserves the honors that some other guys deserve. I sometimes feel that it's harder for me, maybe because of my home country. "
James, who played at Big Weekend on Saturday, was forced to cancel a performance for a charity show at the last minute of March due to disabling anxiety.
About the incident, he said: "There was a lot going on at that time and I got hurt, I still have a knee injury.
"Running was a useful way to fight anxiety and I was not able to do it, so I felt trapped."
Judging by his set at the end of the week, James is definitely back at his best.
HRVY had a sore throat to perform on stage 1 For New Music on Sunday. The rising star was battling an infection after appearing at London's O2 Arena on Saturday, but has always won over thousands of fans.
