Super Smash Bros. Ultimate: new characters are coming to the game
During Nintendo’s E3 2019 presentation, the studio announced a fourth DLC character for “Super Smash Bros. Ultimate”. It is Banjo-Kazooie, one of the personas of Microsoft.
The first three additional personas to come to “Super Smash Bros. Ultimate” are heroes from the “Dragon Quest” franchise. Following the trailer of their arrival, fans did not expect the studio to announce more characters. But indeed, a new teaser was revealed featuring Banjo-Kazooie!
The moves of the duo appear to come straight from the “Banjo-Kazooie” video games. The character will also be adding the Spiral Mountain as a new stage in “Super Smash Bros. Ultimate” as well. Furthermore, Grunty the Witch made an appearance in the trailer which suggests that she could be some sort of hazard in the title.
Even though it might seem surprising, Banjo-Kazooie was one of the most requested characters for a “Super Smash Bros. Ultimate” DLC. This move also shows the closeness that is developing between Nintendo and Microsoft. The two companies were able to port “Cuphead” to the Switch earlier this year. As such, the appearance of Banjo-Kazooie might be the result of the two studios working closer together.
Nintendo announced that Banjo-Kazooie will be coming to “Super Smash Bros. Ultimate” in autumn of 2019.
