So we just got our new car this week and now we start to look for a house. Now, I know car shopping is bad but I do believe house hunting is way worse and the fact I have to visualize what it will look like is definitely one of the harder things to do. My imagination is terrible and looking at houses is probably even worse due to the fact the spaces are generally empty and have no reference point to shoot from. Short post today just, in short, I do not like to car shop and now I do not like to look for houses.
Patience or the ability to wait a long time. I struggle with this on a daily basis. I am not a patient person at all. I like to get things done out of the way and then move on to the next task. With this new season of my life where I wait to get […]

“Fire up your core and engage your quads.” The instructor cues the class into plank position. I smell dirt and leaves. The memories snuck up at first. I was surprised by the sensation and the scenes that would rush back as I stared at the cork floor, images growing more vivid each week. The burn […]
Housing hurting can be bittersweet but draining but a rush all at the same time. It’s like dating. You date around, see something that looks good on the outside but needs a lot of work on the inside. You have to bid to win the one you want. You know how they say love is […]

This weekend is the end of my Bull Elk tag here in NV. As I write, I continue to dwell on the fact that I cannot even apply for another bull tag for another 7 years in my home state. The toughest part is knowing that I gave it my all and ended up coming […]
This is a tough topic to write about because I know feelings and emotions are temporary. State of minds change so quickly and life can change in a flash. You never know what is just around the corner so you have to just be in the present, and appreciate what you have now. I previously […]
