MANCHESTER UNITED HOST CHELSEA IN THE FIRST FIXTURES OF 2019/2020 SEASON

Manchester United have discovered their fixtures for the upcomingPremier Leagueseason. Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’sside will begin the new league campaign by hosting Chelsea at Old Trafford, before travelling to face Wolves at Molineux on the second day.Unitedface a massive test in the Norwegian’s first full season as they look to improve on their sixth-place finish of last year and challenge for a return to Champions League football.In order to do so United will need a positive start to the season and following fixtures against Chelsea and Wolves they will play Crystal Palace and Leicester at home with a trip to face Southampton sandwiched in between. The next top-six club to face United will be Arsenal at home in late September, while Liverpool travel to Old Trafford the month after. United will travel to face Manchester City in the firstderby fixture of the season on December 7 with the corresponding home tie coming on. In terms of the festive fixtures United will face Newcastle at home on Boxing Day while they travel to face Arsenal at the Emirates on New Year’s Day. Solskjaer’s side finish the season with a trip to face Leicester at the King Power stadium.
