Sunday traffic in Montreal: Queen Victoria would not be amused
Road construction over the long weekend will make driving problematic today.
There are multiple exits closed on the Turcot Interchange and partial night closings of Highways 13 and 40 where the two expressways merge.
The exit off of Highway 15 South to the 20 West toward Lachine, the Mercier Bridge and Dorval will be closed until Tuesday at 5 a.m. Motorists will follow a detour to the exit for Atwater South and follow several local roads to get back to the 20 West or the Mercier Bridge.
The exit off Highway 15 South to the Ville-Marie Expressway to downtown will also be closed. Motorists will have to detour via the Atwater exit.
The exit from Highway 20 East to Highway 15 South toward the Champlain Bridge will be closed. Motorists will be rerouted to the Mountain St. exit, then to Robert-Bourassa Blvd. and onto the Bonaventure Expressway.
The exit from Highway 20 East to Highway 15 North (Décarie Expressway) will be closed.
The exit off of the Ville-Marie westbound to Highway 15 North will be closed. As well, the exit off Highway 20 East for Highway 15 southbound to the Champlain Bridge will be closed.
And, finally, the exit off of Highway 15 North to the 20 West will be closed.
The exit off of Highway 132 East to the 10 West to the Champlain Bridge will be closed from until Tuesday at 5 a.m.
Highway 10 West toward downtown will be partially closed between the Victoria Bridge and the Peel Basin until Sunday at 5 p.m.
For the Highway 13/40 Interchange, there will be a partial night closing from Sunday 11 p.m. to Monday 5 a.m. for concrete work on the new Highway 13 overpass crossing over Highway 40. The highways will be closed in one direction at a time.
