IF you’re fighting with your other half more often than you’re hugging them, Harry Redknapp knows what’s up. The I’m A Celebrity winner claims he has never had a row lasting longer than ten minutes with wife of 54 years Sandra – and says the biggest issue among couples is incompatibility – even hinting it was the reason for footballer son Jamie’s divorce from Strictly star Louise. Harry Redknapp says he’s very compatible with wife Sandra, who he has been married to for 54 years In an interview on Good Morning Britain this week, the football manager, 71, was asked by host Piers Morgan whether people “don’t stick it out enough” when it comes to marriage. Harry replied: “I don’t know, it depends. People are not compatible, it’s a problem. We’ve never had that.” Sarah Louise Ryan, relationship expert at Love lessons, says the football manager and his other half – who met when they were both 17 years old and wed in 1967 – have scored well on the compatibility front. “His wife Sandra is not only his life – partner but she truly is his best friend who he respects and adores above all else,” she explains. “This creates a strong foundation for the same outlook and wants in life – no matter what it throws at you.” But he suggested son and Jamie Redknapp and his ex-wife Louise were incompatible Ryan explains that while their son Jamie and his ex-wife Louise – who were married in 1998 and officially called it a day last January –  may have once been compatible, it is clear that this changed. “Relationships are built on three pillars that create foundations for lasting love – trust, respect and communication,” Ryan explains. “At the very least couples need to ensure that they have matching values and a deep understanding of how each other communicates in a relationship.” [bc_video video_id=”5989516667001″ account_id=”5067014667001″ player_id=”default” embed=”in-page” padding_top=”56%” autoplay=”” min_width=”0px” max_width=”640px” width=”100%” height=”100%” caption=”Harry Redknapp hints son Jamie and Louise Redknapp ‘weren’t compatible’ whilst admitting arguments with Sandra don’t last 10 minute”] So where does your relationship sit on the scale of compatibility? KING of the jungle Harry Redknapp has been slammed over plans to evict 28 homeless people from a bedsit he wants to turn into luxury flats. Harry’s property firm wants to transform the Belgravia Hotel in Bournemouth, Dorset, into one and two bedroom apartments. King of the Jungle Harry Redknapp with his wife Sandra There are also plans for five mews-style homes to be built on the site. The building ceased being used as a hotel in 1992 and since then an elderly couple have run it as a bedsit for 28 vulnerable homeless people who would be evicted if the proposal is approved. Pierfront Developments, of which Harry and his wife Sandra are directors, bought the property in 2016 for £1.25m. Ex-West Ham and Spurs manager Harry charmed the nation while in the I’m A Celebrity jungle in Australia and eventually was crowned winner of the reality show. The Belgravia Hotel has now been converted in temporary accommodation for homeless people in Dorset But Gerry and Wendy Hunt, who took over the Belgravia Hotel in 1988, are far from impressed with his property plans and claim they are allowed to remain on the site as tenants. Pierfront has had two previous planning applications to build a larger block of flats on the site refused by the local council. Planners at Bournemouth Borough Council had concerns about the loss of the building that was in a conservation area on East Cliff area of the resort.
There are 28 people living here who would have nowhere to go.
The Redknapps, who last December visited a homeless shelter in Bournemouth to give out jam roly-poly pudding to vulnerable people, have returned with a third bid to get the plans approved. The new project would see the existing three storey building retained but converted into flats. The Hunts said the new proposal was “unnecessary” and accused Pierfront Developments of showing a ‘lack of compassion’. Harry Redknapp hints son Jamie and Louise Redknapp ‘weren’t compatible’ Mr Hunt, 81, said: “There are 28 people living here who would have nowhere to go. “I thought he had given up so it was a hammer blow to see he is still going for it. There is a lack of compassion. “I hope it doesn’t go through as we’ve run it for 30 years but there’s nothing we can do. “We can’t afford to fight the proposal.” Mrs Hunt, 79, added: “We’re not so much worried for us as for the tenants who we took without a deposit. They would be back on the streets if they get evicted. “The plan is very unnecessary. There are so many other places he can build blocks of flats and he doesn’t have to choose somewhere homeless people are living.” Plans for Harry Redknapp’s new development in Bournemouth, Dorset Planning officers rejected the first application for the site in February 2017 while the second proposal was turned down by members of the council’s planning committee 10 months later. Concerns were raised on both occasions about the proposed demolition of the building and the impact they would have on the East Cliff conservation area. The site plans for the property development, submitted by Pierfront Bournemouth Civic Society also opposed the previous schemes calling for ‘a more restrained’ approach to the site. In a submission, it said: “In summary, we see here yet another attempt to disguise an overlarge block of flats in the form of a badly put together, imitation, Victorian mansion block. “We would therefore recommend a smaller and less flamboyant design, possibly in a more restrained late classical form if the existing building cannot be retained.” The latest scheme would see the main building retained and converted into 14 flats, although the coach house would be demolished and replaced with five two-bedroom mews houses. A design and access statement by a planning consultants hired by Pierfront states: “Although the site is referred to as Belgravia Hotel, it has been some years since it was last used as a hotel. “It has been converted to provide self-contained bedsit accommodation and the former coach house is occupied as a dwelling. “The proposals would therefore formalise the existing residential use and ensure that a high standard of residential accommodation can be provided.” The statement adds that ‘the planning balance weighs heavily in favour of the proposal’ due to the council being ‘unable’ to meet new housing targets being considered by the government. None of the residential units in the latest proposal would be ‘affordable’ due to a viability assessment which found that it would only be feasible to include any ‘on reduced profit margins’. [article-rail-section title=”MOST READ IN NEWS” posts_category=”2″ posts_number=”6″ query_type=”popular” /] The application will be considered by Bournemouth Borough Council in the coming weeks. A spokesperson for Pierfront Developments said: “The current tenants’ lease had expired upon which notice was served by Pierfront Developments. “The current tenants will be vacating end of January 2019, in line with their lease and statutory compensation will apply. Legal representatives of both parties are fully satisfied with the arrangements.” [bc_video video_id=”5989516667001″ account_id=”5067014667001″ player_id=”default” embed=”in-page” padding_top=”56%” autoplay=”” min_width=”0px” max_width=”640px” width=”100%” height=”100%” caption=”Harry Redknapp hints son Jamie and Louise Redknapp ‘weren’t compatible’ whilst admitting arguments with Sandra don’t last 10 minute”] We pay for your stories and videos! Louise Redknapp enjoyed a night out on Tuesday as she continues to recover from the ‘nasty’ fall in the street which struck her off work on the 9 To 5 Musical.

The 44-year-old Eternal hitmaker looked sensational for her night on the town as she posed with pals, including Blue’s Lee Ryan, and while she hid her injured chin she did give a flash of her bandaged hand via her Instagram stories.

The stunner was forced to pull out of the show after suffering a nasty fall and shared a snap of her bloodied face after she was rushed to hospital last Tuesday morning, from taking a fall in the street on her way to rehearsals.
