With an age-restriction in place, a QMJHL, OHL or WHL title isn’t something you can go back and try to win as a player later in your career. You will only get four or so legitimate shots at it. For Justin Falk, a member of the WHL’s Spokane Chiefs in 2007, he witnessed a complete […]

The Dallas Cowboys’ backup running back spot may not seem like a high priority compared to other 2019 offseason issues. But all it takes is one bad play for Ezekiel Elliott to be lost, and the Dallas offense leans too heavily on the RB position to take his backup plan lightly. Will the team be […]

When you really break things down, it’s hard to envision the exact road map for Bill Belichick and Nick Caserio to follow in order to shape up the receiving situation.

Chess is a two-player strategy board game played on a chessboard, a checkered gameboard with 64 squares arranged in an 8×8 grid. The game is played by millions of people worldwide. Raymond van Barneveld will get a raucous reception in Rotterdam (Picture: Michael Cooper/PDC) The Premier League heads to Rotterdam for back-to-back nights this week, with Judgement Night upon us. There is a full schedule of action on the oche on Wednesday and Thursday, with one man suffering relegation from the event after the second day. It could actually be the case that Raymond van Barneveld’s fate is already sealed after Wednesday night as, if he fails to win and Michael Smith beats Gerwyn Price, ‘Barney’ will be guaranteed to suffer the drop. However, the Dutchman will have the crowd firmly on his side for his first clash with Daryl Gurney, so he may well keep his hopes alive right up till Judgement Night. Michael van Gerwen is looking to return to the top of the table (Picture: Getty Images) Wednesday 27 March fixtures and odds 6/4 Gerwyn Price vs Michael Smith 7/5 (Draw 16/5) 11/10 James Wade vs Dimitri Van den Bergh 15/8 (Draw 10/3) EVS Rob Cross vs Mensur Suljovic 21/10 (Draw 10/3) 4/1 Peter Wright vs Michael van Gerwen 8/15 (Draw 4/1) 2/1 Raymond van Barneveld vs Daryl Gurney EVS (Draw 10/3) Jeffrey de Zwaan makes his Premier League debut in Rotterdam (Picture: Getty Images) Thursday 28 March fixtures and odds 17/10 Daryl Gurney vs Mensur Suljovic 5/4 (Draw 16/5) 7/5 Peter Wright vs Gerwyn Price 6/4 (Draw 16/5) 8/11 Rob Cross vs Jeffrey de Zwaan 13/5 (Draw 4/1) 11/2 Raymond van Barneveld vs Michael van Gerwen 1/3 (Draw 11/2) 6/4 James Wade vs Michael Smith 7/5 (Draw 16/5) What TV channel is the Premier League darts on? Sky Sport Main Event and Sky Sports Action will be showing the darts on both nights with coverage starting at 7pm. TABLE! Rob Cross goes top of the table, while Raymond van Barneveld gives himself a chance of avoiding elimination in Rotterdam next week.#Unibet180 pic.twitter.com/xoHZwVLjZf — PDC Darts (@OfficialPDC) March 21, 2019 Who are the contenders? Wednesday night sees Dimitri van den Bergh make his Premier League debut against James Wade. The two-time world youth champion holds a winning record against the ‘Machine’ and beat him as recently as last month in a Players Championship event. The 24-year-old Belgian is known to come alive on the big stage and has the chance to be the first contender to win a Premier League game, although he will have to beat an on-form Wade to do so. [metro-tag-post-strip] On Thursday, Jeffrey de Zwaan enters the fray as he takes on Rob Cross, who has been playing brilliantly of late. De Zwaan made a big impression on the circuit last year, reaching the semi-finals of the Matchplay on debut, but his form this year has not been great. The 22-year-old has not been past the last 16 of any ProTour tournament he has appeared in, resorting to the Development Tour, where he has only managed a couple of quarter-finals. The ‘Black Cobra’ is brilliant on his day, but he has not been playing anywhere near well enough to challenge Cross of late. Rob Gronkowski retired from the NFL yesterday. Rob Gronkowski is the greatest player to ever play the tight end position and one of the greatest all-around football players in league history. If you think there’s a tight end that was better than Rob Gronkowski you’re wrong. Gronk was the best blocking tight end ever and […]

Baseball fanatics like me love to wallow in cliches such as “baseball is life.” “Baseball is a lot like life,” said Hall of Fame broadcaster Ernie Harwell. “It’s a day-to-day existence, full of ups and downs. You make the most of your opportunities in baseball as you do in life.” Yes, indeed. Regularly enough, however, […]
