CORONATION Street’s Catherine Tyldesley says she WILL return to the ITV soap as Eva Price. The 35-year-old appeared on the Cobbles from 2011 until her departure last year. Coronation Street’s Catherine Tyldesley says she WILL return to the ITV soap as Eva Price Eva left Weatherfield with her daughter Susie, but speaking to The Sunday People, Catherine said she would be open to returning. She said: “I’d go back if the time was right and storyline was right.” Catherine – who will next be seen in ITV’s Scarborough alongside Jason Manford – also revealed how she’s glad she didn’t find fame until her late 20s on the show. She explained: “I was very lucky. It’s a lot harder when you’re younger to ignore the trolls and negative comments. The 35-year-old appeared on the Cobbles from 2011 until her departure last year “They can tear you to pieces. It can be heartbreaking if you’re not confident.” As well as her acting work, Catherine has also tried her hand at a singing career, and revealed she would like to follow in the footsteps of Sheridan Smith, 37, who has had success on both stage and screen.
