LOVE Island’s Sherif Lanre has revealed that bosses have still not told the Islanders why he was booted out of the villa. The chef got the axe last week after he accidentally kicked Molly-Mae in the crotch during a play fight and called it a “c*** punt” – but those still on the show are unlikely to know because no one saw it as a “serious incident”. Sherif Lanre doesn’t think the Islanders have been told why he left Speaking on BBC podcast The Reality Tea with presenters Raj and Pilar, he said:  “Everyone continued as normal, it was right before bed. “I know almost 100% that [Molly] didn’t make a complaint because she wasn’t in any pain and she wasn’t injured”. Asked if the Islanders would have been told the reason, he said: “They definitely wouldn’t have told people”. He believes even Anna Vakili, who he was coupled up with, would have been kept in the dark. The Islanders all thought it was a minor incident, according to Sherif Molly-Mae was kicked in the groin on the show “I don’t think they told her what happened and what they deemed inappropriate,” he admitted. “I think they have a duty not to tell people in there so it doesn’t mess up their head and they don’t start moving in a particular way…basically moving stiff and dead in the show.” Sherif broke his silence about his exit in an interview with The Sun On Sunday, admitting he had “been stupid” and “let himself down.” Sherif thinks the bosses were harsh on him [bc_video video_id=”6048717344001″ account_id=”5067014667001″ player_id=”default” embed=”in-page” padding_top=”56%” autoplay=”” min_width=”0px” max_width=”640px” width=”100%” height=”100%” caption=”Sherif Lanre exclusively tells The Sun on Sunday why he was booted out of the Love Island villa “] [article-rail-section title=”More on Love Island” posts_category=”169″ posts_number=”6″ query_type=”popular” /] [pod_component pod_component_config_id=”20190603-carousel-d6Tx0RIY5″ pod_component_config_url=”https://www.thesun.co.uk/nu-sun-pod-component-config-prod/20190603-carousel-d6Tx0RIY5.json” pod_component_config_loader_url=”https://www.thesun.co.uk/nu-sun-pod-loaders-prod/1.59.4/componentLoader.js?107692″ src=”https%3A%2F%2Fiframe.thesun.co.uk%2Fnu-sun-pod-widgets-prod%2Fiframe-pod.html%3Fid%3D20190603-carousel-d6Tx0RIY5%26script%3Dhttps%3A%2F%2Fwww.thesun.co.uk%2Fnu-sun-pod-loaders-prod%2F1.59.4%2FcomponentLoader.js%3F107692%26config%3Dhttps%3A%2F%2Fwww.thesun.co.uk%2Fnu-sun-pod-component-config-prod%2F20190603-carousel-d6Tx0RIY5.json”] However speaking in the podcast he suggested the bosses had been too strict on him, adding:  “As much as there’s tight regulation around the show and the contract its maybe got a bit out of hand, “Just even saying don’t use your home slang or don’t be yourself or mucking about its like, so what do you want me to be?” He concluded:: “Obviously I regret actually kicking someone in their private area, but it was an accident and I feel like people should understand that”. Anton put in major effort to trim down for the show (Picture: Instagram/PA) Love Island’s Anton Danyluk went the extra mile to try and impress the ladies in the villa by getting completely shredded in the weeks leading up to his time on the show. The Scotsman went through a gruelling regime to transform his body and be in peak condition for the series – with the gym he owns definitely coming in handy as he did so. Over the course of 16 weeks, the star shared his progress on Instagram as he went through intense training including four weight training sessions a week, abs and cardio three times a week and cutting out all alcohol. While the results are definitely impressive, it appears that it hasn’t helped the 24-year-old singleton win anybody over – after being pied off left, right and centre since setting foot in Mallorca. Since joining the show two weeks ago, he’s been grafting like noone’s ever grafted before – trying it on with Lucie Donlan moments after being paired with Amy Hart in the first coupling up. When that fell through, he’s tried it on with Anna Vakili in ‘Operation Double A’ which amounted to nothing, and then moved over to Molly-Mae Hague. Anton went through a major transformation (Picture: Instagram) Never one to stop trying, Anton’s efforts to try and find a connection with someone has proven fruitless, with only Elma Pazar becoming a potential other half finally just three days ago. And just when he thought he had got his girl, the show threw in a twist and Elma was eliminated from the show alongside Joe Garratt, leaving him back on the hunt for a new other half. [metro-tag-post-strip] Could the next girl that sets foot in the villa be his type on paper? Love Island continues weeknights at 9pm on ITV2. [metro-video id=”1948310″] Yewande has captured the hearts of Love Island viewers and tonight hearts were broken as the Irish beauty questioned her relationship with Danny. Legions of fans took to Twitter to support the 32-year-old scientist who is having doubts. As did her pal Anna Vakili who said in the beach hut: ‘Yewande doesn’t realise how beautiful she is.’ Yewande admitted in the Beach Hut that she is usually the one doing the chasing so to have someone actually chasing her is ‘different’. She later said she is finding it ‘hard to believe’ that Danny’s feelings are genuine. Taking to Twitter, one fan wrote: ‘I understand how Yewande feels, like just being suspicious because you’ve never had someone chase you like that #LoveIsland. Another added: ‘yewande please just believe in yourself love 😦 #LoveIsland.’ Another fan tweeted: ‘danny and yewande are going through a rough patch and i’m sobbin #LoveIsland.’ Someone else shared: ‘Yewande is doing what girls do when things are going too well with a guy #loveisland.’ [metro-tag-post-strip] Later in the episode, Danny sought advice from Curtis Pritchard. ‘I think Yewande is confused. We’ve hit a blip,’ he said before conceding to give her some space for a few days. Love Island airs nightly on ITV2 at 9pm. In the preview for tonight’s episode of the ITV2 series, Yewande shares her doubts about her relationship with the model. Confiding in Anna Vakili, she says: ‘I just feel that me and Danny, aren’t moving as quickly as the other couples are.’ Anna questions whether Yewande wants to kiss Danny when she looks at him – and her response is not very enthusiastic. ‘Some days I look at him and I’m like “I really want to kiss you, I want to jump on you” and then there are some days where I don’t feel anything,’ she admitted. Later, as the couple cosy up on the daybed, Yewande queries Danny on whether he would be interested in a new girl. Yewande has doubts about Danny (Picture: ITV) ‘If someone came in tomorrow, would you get to know them?’ she asks. Danny reveals he would but only ‘in a polite way’ hinting that he only has eyes for his current other half. ‘Not in a “my head could be turned” way, not at all.’ [metro-tag-post-strip] Yewande presses the question further, asking: ‘But what if they wanted to get to know you? I’m not going to be offended by whatever you say, you do know that right?’ Tonight’s episode will also see Caroline Flack return to the villa as two islanders face being voted off by the public. LUCIE Donlan and Joe Garratt’s faces DROP as Caroline Flack reveals tonight’s huge Love Island twist. Anton Danyluk and Elma Pazar also gasp in shock as the host reveals that one person from each couple is about to be booted from the villa. Lucie Donlan and Joe Garratt looked shocked after hearing one of them is about to leave the villa Last night, the Islanders were forced to choose which pairing they believed was the least compatible in the ITV2 dating show, with the foursome getting the lowest amount of votes. They then went head to head as Love Island fans voted for which member of each couple they wanted to save. In scenes that will air in tonight’s episode, the four hopefuls look on in horror as Caroline explains the bombshell twist to them. The 39-year-old star says: “The public have been voting to save one Islander from each couple. Elma Pazar and Anton Danyluk are also left stunned by the bombshell “Either Elma or Anton and Lucie or Joe will be dumped tonight.” All of the Islanders react in horror, with Tommy Fury, Molly-Mae Hague, Amber Gill, and Michael Griffiths also appearing concerned as they await their castmates’ fate – with the two that do stay on becoming singletons in the villa. Horrified viewers have urged producers to step in amid his “emotional abuse” of the surfer, with charity Women’s Aid also slamming his actions in an exclusive chat with The Sun Online. Since the show launched earlier this month, Joe has appeared possessive of Lucie – with fans even comparing him to the psychotic stalker Joe in Netflix series You just two days after they first coupled up. Things only got worse at the weekend, with Joe growing jealous of Lucie’s close relationship with hunky boxer Tommy – demanding she “changed” and spent time with the other girls instead. LOVE Island bosses threw a spanner in the works when they told the surviving couples from the last recoupling to vote for who they thought were the least compatible pair. Also, new entrants Jordan Hames and Tom Walker made their arrival, and Tommy Fury and Molly-Mae Hague shared their first kiss. Here’s what went down in episode 13. Molly was concerned about her and Tommy being named the least compatible couple What happened in Love Island episode 13? After Maura Higgins and Anna Vakili were sped off on their dates with newcomers Tom and Jordan, the remaining Islanders, who were coupled up, fretted about the task they’d been given. Each pair would pick the couple they believed were the least compatible, and the two who received the most votes would risk being kicked off the island. Molly-Mae seemed sure that her fellow contestants would choose her and Tommy, telling the boxer: “I do think we’re a bit in trouble. I think there will definitely be people picking us.” Joe Garratt and Lucie Donlan shared their concerns with one another before each couple gave their answers through a simple text message. Newcomers Tom and Jordan prepared for their dates with Maura and Anna While tough decisions were going on back at the villa, Maura and Anna headed out on their dinner dates with the new boys while the Kim Kardashian lookalike stressed how happy she was to hear that Tom is 29-years-old. “Most of the guys in the villa are from twenty to twenty-four. I’m twenty-eight,” she gushed while the handsome hunk returned the favour with the compliments. During her date with Tom, Maura didn’t even hesitate to answer his question regarding where she stood with Tommy, saying: “Don’t go there. I’m not into Tommy anymore.” And while Maura’s date appeared to have gone well, Jordan used the chance to compliment Anna on her good looks, adding that the pharmacist could easily pass for a model.
