HARRY Redknapp must have thought his management days were over after getting the push from Birmingham City in 2017.
But following the success of ITV’s brilliant Harry’s Heroes: The Full English, I’m told he has got himself a second outing.
Harry Redknapp has landed himself a second series of his Harry’s Heroes show
Channel bosses are planning a follow-up in which another set of porky former footballers don their old kit to see if they can shift a few pounds along the way.
The recent series featured a host of England stars of yesteryear including Chris Waddle, Robbie Fowler, Matt Le Tissier, David Seamon, Paul Merson and Neil “Razor” Ruddock as they took on their old rivals from Germany. In the new series, which will tie in with Euro 2020, a new group will travel the Continent taking on other teams of veterans.
An ITV source said: “Bosses were delighted with the reception the first series got, so are now working on getting a second part locked in.
“The idea with the second series is to get another team of ex-England stars, who are carrying a few extra pounds, to tour Europe and play some other former footballers of the same era.

“The plan is to tie it in with next year’s European Championships, when football fever will grip the country again.
“The search to find a team of willing stars starts now, as does getting Harry signed up.”
Here I’ve picked my own team of former England stars — some of whom are probably carrying a bit of extra timber since their playing days.
Let’s see if Harry and ITV’s producers turn out to be on the same page.
Ben Bridge too far for Frankie
FRANKIE Bridge is being tested by Celebrity SAS: Who Dares Wins without even signing up for the show.
The Saturdays singer told pals she is “annoyed” about husband Wayne Bridge’s close bond with love rat Ben Foden on the Channel 4 series, which features celebs including Olympic cyclist Victoria Pendleton.
The bromance between Wayne Bridge and Ben Foden is said to have annoyed Wayne’s wife Frankie
Their bromance comes despite rugby player Ben – who is now based in the US – cheating on Frankie’s bandmate Una Healy with PR girl Becky Milne last July.
A source said: “Frankie isn’t best pleased about seeing Wayne form a bromance with Ben. If anything, it’s annoyed her quite a bit. Ben and Wayne have known each other for a few years but all this talk of being best pals is quite difficult for her to watch.
“She doesn’t want to make it awkward but also feels like she should have some loyalty to Una.”
Una, who has two children with Ben, confirmed her new relationship with Limerick hurler David Breen via a post on Instagram at the end of last year.

Ben, meanwhile, flew Irish model Miriam Murphy over to visit him in New York last month.
If Wayne wants a quiet life, then he should probably steer well clear.
Dates in the mix
THERE have already been episodes featuring gay men, gay women and even drag queens, so a bisexual Blind Date was only a matter of time.
That is Channel 5’s latest tweak to the dating show, which is still synonymous with its former host, the late Cilla Black. Her old mucker Paul O’Grady, who took over two years ago, was delighted to make next month’s episode.

He said: “It was a joy to film and I’m sure Cilla would have been proud.”
The bisexual special features a mixed line-up of men and women, including beauty consultant Jordan, who must choose between support worker Lily, male model Jesse and French Masters student Zoe.
That’s what you call being spoilt for choice.
POOR Bex is being crushed by the weight of her parents’ expectations as she approaches her exams during tonight’s episode of EastEnders.
Sonia and Martin are blinded by their pride . . . and the thought of weekends spent punting if Bex is accepted into Oxford University. But it all gets too much at the open day and she sneaks out.

Bex then bumps into a girl called Ellie who has some dubious suggestions on how she can get through the next few months.
Meanwhile, over on Emmerdale, it is an important day for Matty, who takes a big step towards becoming the person he always felt he is by having his breasts removed.
All Moira can think about, though, is the possibility of losing another child as she is traumatised by vision’s of Holly’s death. Let’s just hope there are no complications with the surgery.
Yee-haw! David has a wold time out west

DEL Boy was always bit of a cowboy . . . now actor David Jason has gone the whole hog by dressing as a rancher to ride a Wild West stagecoach.
David donned the gear for his transport series Planes, Trains & Automobiles, which continues on Gold tonight at 9pm.
He joked: “To make me look a right plonker, the producers made me go the full John Wayne!”
WHAT? My Travels & Other Animals, ITV, 8.30pm.
WHY? Globetrotting host Martin Clunes meets a man living with wolves in Devon, as well as a modern-day Robinson Crusoe in Australia who has a pet dingo.
