As a mother comforts her child, so I will comfort you; you shall be comforted in Jerusalem. Grace to you and peace from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ. Philippians 1:2 INVITATORY AND PSALTER Lord, open our lips. And our mouth shall proclaim your praise. Glory to the Father, and to the Son, […]
Stay tuned for a recognized Ship on TV each week!
I sit in the cool, darkened cinema with Riley (5) and Tilda (2), and enjoy a few moments of much needed calm. The girls are loving Mary Poppins Returns but I can’t help thinking what a cruel film it is to show parents. Kids get expert training on how to outsmart adults; parents get to see that world’s greatest nanny has enough magic to fly down a kite and help Michael Banks with his children, but not enough magic to climb through the screen and help you with yours.
But let’s rewind a bit to see why a bit of help from Mary Poppins would have been, frankly, quite appreciated today…
In the words of the chorus from Babalon AD by Cradle of Filth one line sums up my feelings for this attraction… “So glad for the madness” Back on October 3rd 2018, It was decided one night to road trip to Liverpool in search of an attraction to suit our need for scares. The attraction […]
I have always admired the 60’s, well it was the defining decade after all, a time where restrictions were minimising and the true essence of ‘Peace and Love’ become like a magnet to everyone. From Brigitte Bardot’s beehive to Mary Quant’s geometric prints, every 1960s fashion icon contributed their own signature style to the decade. […]
Make An Outdoors Soothing Getaway For The Loved Ones Home Improvement But what exactly will your company assume about you if your roof is covered with a layer of moss? Think about your rental bond and how you plan to get it again on time and in full. If I join reoccurring gutter cleaning, will […]
I’ve been sitting on this post for a few months, and honest to god probably a few years in my own head. A lot of people ask me about my story and how I “made it out.” Really, I never felt like it was a big deal, it’s something thousands of others have dealt with […]
Part Nine The soldier in full armor looked down at them as they emerged from the cave. He had obviously been waiting for them. Both girls were speechless with terror, and Mary Elise could see Brother Frederick’s face blanch. But the bandit relaxed. “Philip.” “Patrick.” The soldier’s eyes twinkled. “I had a feeling you were […]

Ola Balogun has declared a twist to the way the civil war is told in history. There are a lot of things that traditional media or history books may not tell you. You’re never really sure who to believe or who’s telling you the truth. I’ve read accounts of the Nigerian Civil War, but none have come close to the tunes Ola Balogun played in his book.
He didn’t just show us the skin, but everything including the blood and gore of war between brothers and sisters.
He stripped those years and inner workings of Nigerian politics down to the bone. He left Nigerians pants down by showing us one thing, Experience isn’t always the best teacher! Especially in Nigeria’s case. The problems we had then, we still have them now.
Smart phones should be smart enough to right size font sizes so you can read stuff.Often they do not, though. Sender of email has no idea what receiver is going to see. Computers mangle almost everything nowadays. There is always 1 most readable font and 1 most readable sized font. Should be the 1 font […]
In my ‘Introduction to Spiritual Strongholds’ I had started with the passage in II Corinthians 10:3 along with sharing some other passages that describe how the challenges we face in the physical realm are directly related to the war that is waged in the spiritual/heavenly realms. I will now move onto II Corinthians 10:4 and […]
Every time I look at the others, I ask myself, are you one of them? It’s been a while and I am still waiting. I’m starting to think that maybe I’ve been looking into the wrong places because every time that I look around, the image of you was still vague. My memories were tampered. […]
