The following information has been taken from the Chico Police Department, Butte County Sheriff’s Office, Oroville Police Department and the Glenn County Sheriff’s Office. TUESDAY Burglary Forest Creek Circle, Chico: A garage was broken into overnight and a bike inside was stolen. The bike was described as being a Santa Cruz Superlight full-suspension mountain bike with no serial number. Highway 99, Gridley: Orchard shop was broken into and items were stolen. Found property Yosemite Drive, Chico: An Allstate booklet with a car registration was found as well as a stamp card for Dutch Bros. Theft 2400 block of Notre Dame Boulevard, Chico: A woman left a store with a cart full of merchandise before entering a grey Jeep Grand Cherokee. Video surveillance was unavailable. 1500 block of Mangrove Avenue, Chico: Two subjects were caught on camera stealing merchandise from a store by stuffing it into their pockets. The duo was described as being two men wearing all black. Losser Avenue, Gridley: A woman reported a theft from her property. Baggett-Marysville Road, Oroville: The reporting party said his wife caught a possible transient trying to steal their mail. Plumas Avenue, Oroville: A wedding ring was reported missing. The reporting party was unsure if it was stolen. WEDNESDAY Burglary 200 block of East Avenue, Chico: A car was broken into by a man described as wearing a black shirt, brown pants and riding a bike. Found property 2500 block of Burnap Avenue, Chico: The reporting party stated a bike was given to him to “pay a debt.” He wanted to check with Chico Police to make sure the bike was not stolen. Unknown address, Chico: A found wallet was taken to the probation office. Theft 800 block of Manzanita Avenue, Chico: A gold 2003 Toyota four-door was stolen from the listed property. The vehicle contained a wallet with bank and identification cards. Las Plumas Avenue, Oroville: A subject was caught shoplifting at Dollar General. The merchandise was recovered by the reporting party, though the subject fled on foot. THURSDAY Burglary Coutolenc Road, Magalia: The caller’s vehicle was broken into and his backpack was taken. Theft 3300 block of Canyon Oaks Terrace, Chico: The reporting party said their exchange student, before moving out, allowed friends in the home and some of them stole jewelry as well as other items. The subjects also damaged the reporting party’s car. 2400 block of Martin Luther King Jr. Parkway, Chico: The reporting party had her purse stolen from her cart while at Tractor Supply. FRIDAY Theft 2300 block of The Esplanade, Chico: Reporting party recognized a subject as someone who dined and dashed in March. 1400 block of East Lassen Avenue, Chico: The reporting party believed their wallet had been stolen along with credit cards and social security cards. 400 block of Otterson Drive, Chico: An unknown subject broke into the caller’s truck and stole his lunch box and other items. The lunch box was dumped 10 feet from the truck but the wallet and vehicle keys remained missing. SATURDAY Burglary 1100 block of Hobart Street, Chico: A woman’s car was broken into overnight.[related_articles location=”left” show_article_date=”false” article_type=”automatic-primary-tag”] 1200 block of West Seventh Street, Chico: A vehicle that had previously been reported stolen had keys to a storage unit inside. Said storage unit was broken into. Surveillance footage is available. Theft 100 block of Broadway Street, Chico: A bike, described as being a black Cannondale with bright green and white on it, was stolen. 2000 block of Forest Avenue, Chico: A woman was caught for her second time shoplifting at a store, this time stealing cleaner. The woman was cooperative after being detained at the business’s office. 2000 block of Forest Avenue, Chico: A woman with blue and green hair shoplifted clothing and makeup items from Walmart before leaving on foot. SUNDAY Burglary 1200 block of West Fifth Street, Chico: The reporting party’s apartment was entered and a TV and XBox were stolen. His roommate reportedly left the front door open. Ophir Road, Oroville: The reporting party’s business was broken into overnight and a truck and trailer were stolen. The truck is a white 2001 Ford F-250 and the trailer was a black 14-foot dump trailer. Found property Palo Alto Street, Chico: The reporting party found two women’s bikes and took them to the lobby of the Chico Police Department. Theft 2000 block of Forest Avenue, Chico: The reporting party had his vehicle broken into overnight. The suspect used a stolen card from the vehicle to make charges at Dino Mart. 1400 block of Nord Avenue, Chico: Tenants were caught running a power cord into the apartment building’s laundry room, stealing power.
