Chosen for its high hedges and low-profile street frontage, a grand Mediterranean-inspired eastern suburbs villa once owned by the Paspaley family will be the TV set for the Seven Network’s popular My Kitchen Rules, which is fronted by Pete Evans and Manu Feildel. Filming starts at 68 Drumalbyn Road in Bellevue Hill, on July 1, according to a development application lodged with Woollahra Council. Ten contestants will be housed at the five-bedroom mansion, where Seven will film until September 29. Described as a villa in the grand manner, it was sold by the Paspaley family in 2015 for $12.51 million. Seven plans 42 non-consecutive days of filming until September 29, with production vehicles to include 20 cars and five vans as well as a drone. Seven says there will be financial benefit to the local community, with two large supermarkets and various specialist shops in the vicinity of the production used to buy ongoing grocery supplies for the competition, as well as catering requirements for the production staff. Seven will consult neighbours at 66, 70, 70a and 106a Balfour Road, Bellevue Hill.

Tinder dating. Balancing on that tight rope between modern meat markets, vintage marriage proposals and a continuum of taffeta excuses for those with no idea about couture.
