EIGHT people were injured, four vehicles were burned out and a dog had to be put down at a house in Co Roscommon overnight. Three people were hospitalised following the horror incident at a house and farm in Falsk near Strokestown at around 5.30am. Gardai have launched a criminal investigation According to RTE, security personnel were at the scene when a large number of men wearing high-viz jackets arrived and attacked them with baseball bats. It is understood the eight people injured were all security personnel and the dog killed was a security dog. The three people that were hospitalised were treated at Sligo and Mullingar hospitals.
