CRAIG LEVEIN used to wind up Neil Lennon for fun — and the Celtic boss LOVED it. For two years they were capital rivals at Hearts and Hibs, regularly in the thick of verbal jousts, and the football scene in Edinburgh was electric. Levein and Lennon shake hands as their sides locked horns at Tynecastle Now ex-Hibs gaffer Lennon is looking to shatter his old foe at Hampden tomorrow — but it’s definitely not personal. Lennon said: “I like him. Craig was that good he became his country’s manager. “It is amazing he hasn’t won a trophy. “He won’t mind me saying it, but I hope that continues this weekend. The pair pose with the Scottish Cup which is up for grabs tomorrow at Hampden “But I like him a lot as a guy. “He is spiky in the media, which is good, he has got a sense of humour. “He has had to deal with a lot of injuries and to the spine of his team. “It has been really bad luck for them. With the quality of the squad that he has, to lose John Souttar, Christophe Berra, Uche Ikpeazu, Steven Naismith, you can’t recover from that, really. Captains Christophe Berra and Scott Brown at yesterday’s press call “Speculation surrounding Craig’s job? I don’t know where that’s come from. “He’s got them to the final, got them to a semi-final, into the top six comfortably. “It’s a HUGE improvement on the previous manager. It was good with Craig in Edinburgh, I enjoyed it, with the ‘natural order’ stuff that irked me — as he KNEW it would! SINGLE SINGLE Levein insists Hearts have single ambition of wrecking Celtic’s treble Treble bid “But you have to bear in mind he had a health scare at the start of the year, which upset me. “I was straight on the phone to see how he was and I’m glad to see him looking fit and well again. “I have respect for all my peers in the game because I know how difficult the job is.
