Wes is believed to be dating again (Picture: REX, @lissyroddyy) There we were, looking for telltale sparks between Wes Nelson and Vanessa Bauer, when another romance was going on right under our noses. We feel duped. Love Island star Wes is reportedly romancing a social media influencer, following his split from Megan Barton Hanson. The 21-year-old met blogger Lissy Roddy at a Nasty Gal party in Dublin, which he was attending with pal Josh Denzel, and the pair have been seeing each other for a few weeks. Lissy met Wes at a fashion party in Dublin (Picture: Instagram) This is quite a surprise considering everyone was convinced there was something going on between Wes and his Dancing On Ice partner Vanessa. A source told The Sun: ‘Wes is having a really good time getting to know Lissy, they’ve been on some nice dates and they’ve been hanging out, going on shopping trips together and chilling at home. ‘Lissy’s the reason Wes was so adamant he wouldn’t be getting back with Megan. She is absolutely stunning and he’s one very happy man.’ The source added that Wes and Lissy, real name Alicia, are ‘inseparable’ despite it being early days. Wes and Megan split in February (Picture: Anthony Harvey/REX/Shutterstock) Lissy is a fashion influencer with over 600,000 followers on Instagram, while nearly 80,000 people subscribe to her YouTube channel, where she films her shopping ‘hauls’. Her romance with Wes comes after the Love Island finalist shot down rumours of a reconciliation with Megan. The couple split up in February, after Megan hit out at professional skater Vanessa for announcing her break-up from her own boyfriend on the eve of her first dance with Wes. [metro-tag-post-strip] And despite sending X-rated messages to each other after splitting up, Wes insisted that a reunion wasn’t on the cards. Speaking on Loose Women, he said: ‘I don’t think so, it’s sad, it is very sad. ‘It’s very difficult. Any person in the public eye knows, when your relationship is your career essentially. It was a lot of pressure, there was a lot of opinions.’ Metro.co.uk has contacted Wes’s rep for comment. Gemma Collins is releasing a song with Naughty Boy (Picture: Backgrid; Getty) Gemma Collins has teamed up with her new BFF Naughty Boy and is reportedly releasing her own heartbreak track. Producer Naughty Boy struck up an unlikely friendship with Gemma at the Brits in February and has now revealed that he and the G.C have been working on new music together. He teased that Gemma has a single in the pipeline, inspired by her on/off relationship with boyfriend James Argent. The duo split following an explosive showdown that led to Arg apologising to Gemma for bodyshaming jibes he threw at her during their argument, and while the pair’s romance seems to be back on track, the TOWIE star has apparently channeled her heartache in her song. Speaking to The Sun, Naughty Boy said: ‘I think Gemma is going to have one of the biggest songs of the year, I can say that with my hand on my heart. ‘It’s definitely a romantic song and Gemma’s got such a big heart, it makes a lot of sense of her whole life right now. She’s still working things out with Arg but they make such a good couple and when they’re good, they’re good.’ Gemma has channeled her heartache from her on/off romance with Arg into her song (Picture: MEGA) Naughty Boy, who has worked with the likes of Sam Smith and Beyonce, said he thinks people will be surprised by Gemma’s voice, adding: ‘She was born to sing… when people hear the music and hear her voice, I think it’s going to take her up a notch.’ He explained that Gem had actually sung him a part of Running, his track with Beyonce, and he knew in that moment she was a ‘superstar’. Recalling their first meeting at the Brits, Naughty Boy claimed he and Gemma had an ‘instant synergy’. Gemma and Naughty Boy became BFFs at the Brits (Picture: Instagram) OK, now we’re officially intrigued. Fans recently saw Gemma on Dancing On Ice and the Essex star was a huge hit, with the show’s ratings actually taking a dip following her exit. [metro-zone-post-strip] Now, it’s been reported that Gemma is lining up an appearance on the celebrity version of The X Factor next. Simon Cowell has teased that fans will get an all-stars version of The X Factor this year, along with a celebrity series. G.C taking on Simon? It’s a yes from us.
