(Picture: BBC) Stacey (Lacey Turner) and Martin (James Bye) haven’t had an easy time in EastEnders as of late, but in spite of the pair’s troubles, their commitment to one another hasn’t faltered. However, could Stacey be about to throw it all away by straying with Max Branning (Jake Wood) once more? With Stacey and Kat (Jessie Wallace) still at each other’s throats, Martin and Kush (Davood Ghadami) devise a plan to sort this feud out once and for all. Unfortunately, this plan of theirs doesn’t quite pan out — and Stacey is left upset with her husband over his meddling. However, the following day, she resolves to clear the atmosphere, and thus plans to make a surprise romantic meal. Later, she bumps into Max and proceeds to give him some stern advice, but after he cuts himself on a broken picture frame, she makes a shocking discovery — but just what is it that she’s found out? Unable to hide his grief any longer, Max completely breaks down in front of Stacey and — feeling compelled to stay with him — she ignores Martin’s calls. On this decision, Lacey said: ‘Max needs Stacey more than Martin at that precise moment; it’s as simple as that. Stacey knows she’s supposed to be having a romantic night in with Martin, but seeing Max so desperate she can’t just leave him.’ Max has had a tough time as of late, what with Rainie (Tanya Franks) doing a bunk with baby Abi, Mel (Tamzin Outhwaite) having rejected his advances, and Bobby Beale (Clay Milner Russell) having been released from prison — the latter of which has brought back many bad memories for him. Stacey is the one person he’s always been able to open up to, so it’s no wonder he finds himself drawn to her once more. Lacey said: ‘Max is clearly not coping without Abi, and nobody knows Max better than Stacey. They’ve got so much history, she can read him like a book. Seeing him struggling, Stacey is drawn to help, she cares about Max, she always will’. Stacey later explains to Martin that she can’t make dinner, and he’s incredibly understanding about the whole thing. Afterwards, she heads back to Max’s to check on him once more, but — unbeknownst to them — Martin glares at Max’s house for across the Square. Has his suspicions been raised? What’s more, does he have any reason to actually be suspicious? It would appear so, as — later in the week — Stacey panics when she wakes at Max’s place. But has anything transpired between her and her former lover? Has history repeated itself once again? One to watch: Thursday 25th July at 7:30pm on BBC One.

(Picture: BBC) For the last few months, Jack Branning (Scott Maslen) has been doing all he can for Tiffany Butcher (Maisie Smith) in EastEnders following her rape ordeal, but the ex copper is about to find himself in deep trouble, as his recent actions will come back to haunt him. Jack is stressed out over Rainie (Tanya Franks) having absconded with baby Abi, but that proves to be the least of his worries as Muski — an old pal of his from the police — turns up on his doorstep to inform him that he’s been implicated in a crime that’s currently being investigated — the crime being the assault which took place on Tiffany’s rapist, Fraser. With Tiffany aware that Muski has paid him a visit, Jack’s unable to hide the truth any longer and, as a result, he spills the beans to her about what happened with Fraser — a conversation which Max (Jake Wood) overhears. Desperate to get himself off the hook, Jack asks Denise (Diane Parish) if she’d be willing to provide him with an alibi, but she’s reluctant to do so — mostly because he won’t tell her the reason why he’s in need of one in the first place. After a conversation with Kush (Davood Ghadami), Denise agrees to help Jack out but — in spite of her agreeing to do so — she ends her relationship with the former policeman, due to him being unable to open up to her about his whereabouts on the night in question. Later, Jack informs Max that the police are on their way to speak to him but — despite Jack now having an alibi — Max suggests that he might be better off going into hiding. Will Jack listen to his brother’s advice? He’s proven to be an incredibly honourable guy, so chances are he’ll stay put to help Tiffany through the whole ordeal. The bigger question is: will Denise’s alibi be strong enough to keep him out of prison? One to watch: Tuesday 15th July at 7:30pm on BBC One.

(Picture: BBC) The war between Kat Moon (Jessie Wallace) and Stacey Fowler (Lacey Turner) is about to step up a gear in a dramatic EastEnders showdown tonight – despite Martin (James Bye) finally making amends with Kush Kazemi (Davood Ghadami). The family has been at odds since Kush decided he wanted custody of Arthur and Kat supported him. But when Kat discovered the money Alfie (Shane Richie) stole from Phil Mitchell (Steve McFadden) was missing, Stacey admitted that she had it and tensions continued to rise. As Martin and Kush snipe at each other on the market, Shirley Carter (Linda Henry) proposes that they have a public boxing match to settle their differences. But just as they are squaring up to one another, a thief snatches Martin’s money bag and Kush instinctively gives chase. Together, the friends apprehend the yob and get the cash back and everything is put into perspective. After a discussion, the pals make up, putting friendship first. But the same can’t be said for Stacey and Kat. As they bicker about the money again, Stacey demands to know what Kat wanted the cash for and as the truth comes to light, a confrontation gets out of hand – leading to Stacey taking drastic action. Is this the end of the line for Kat and Stacey? [metro-zone-post-strip]

It doesn’t look like the women will be following in Kush and Martin’s footsteps any time soon and Stacey – Lacey Turner – soon makes a drastic decision about Kat. But what is it? The feisty Slater pair have been at each other’s throats since Kat let it slip that Kush – who she’s now dating – was planning to go for custody of little Arthur, the son he shares with Stacey. [article-rail-topic title=”More on EastEnders” term_id=”543″ posts_number=”6″ /] Furious that Kat hadn’t told her sooner, Stacey told her she was dead to her and things have been frosty ever since – despite attempts from Jean and Mo to get the feuding cousins to sort things out. Shirley Carter takes shocking action for Phil Mitchell (Picture: BBC) EastEnders is about to heat up as Phil Mitchell (Steve McFadden) gets Shirley Carter (Linda Henry) to do his dirty work. Yes, the Slaters need to watch out, as Shirley is on her way to demand money from the family. Phil handed over a loan to Alfie Moon (Shane Richie), who secretly passed this on to his wife Kat (Jessie Wallace) before he fled the square. However, it seems as though suspicions are rising as to where the cash has gone, and after some serious digging, Shirley has clocked on to Kat’s lies. Heading round to their house, Shirley decides to take control of the situation, and demands the money back from the Slaters. Whether or not they will comply with her request is still unknown, but it sure looks like Kat has some explaining to do. She wants the money (Picture: BBC) But this isn’t the only thing Kat has on her mind, as her feud with Stacey Fowler (Lacey Turner) is about to erupt. Although Martin (James Bye) and Kush (Davood Ghadami) are able to put their differences aside in the upcoming episodes, the war between the Slater women will escalate in a big way. After finally shaking off Alfie, Kat has managed to find herself a little slice of happiness in Kush. The unlikely coupling have heated up our screens, and become one of EastEnders’ finest couples, but Kush’s desire to see more of Arthur ultimately led to a massive bust-up between him and Martin. Will Kat hand over the goods to Shirley? (Picture: BBC) And this has sure caused all the drama for both Kat and Stacey. The last few weeks have seen the Slater icons at each other’s throats, with Stacey never missing an opportunity to remind Kat of how she now feels about her. One to watch: Friday 19th July at 8pm on BBC One. (Picture: BBC) Stacey Fowler (Lacey Turner) and Kat Moon’s (Jessie Wallace) feud has been festering like an open wound for quite some time now in EastEnders, and although Martin (James Bye) and Kush (Davood Ghadami) are able to put their differences aside in the upcoming episodes, the war between the Slater women escalates in a big way. After having been put through the ringer by Alfie (Shane Richie) last year, Kat finally managed to find herself a little slice of happiness in Kush. The unlikely duo have heated up our screens, and become one of EastEnders’ finest couples in recent memory, but Kush’s desire to see more of Arthur ultimately led to a massive bust-up between him and Martin — which in turn caused problems for Kat and Stacey. The last few weeks have seen the Slater icons at each other’s throats, with Stacey never missing an opportunity to remind Kat of how she now feels about her. In the upcoming episodes, Martin and Kush’s rivalry continues, and — after Shirley (Linda Henry) suggests they should settle their disagreements with their fists — the pair prepare to do battle in Bridge Street’s very own make-shift boxing ring. However, before the match can take place, Kush spots a couple of lads making off with Martin’s money belt. Determined to help his mate, he pursues the thieves, and manages to retrieve Martin’s cash. As a result, the two men have a heart-to-heart, and ultimately agree to put their differences aside. However, the animosity between Stacey and Kat shows no signs of subsiding, as the two women have another huge argument after Kat asks for the money back — and a fuming Stacey takes drastic action. How far will Stacey go? What’s more, will these actions of hers damage her relationship with Kat beyond repair? One to watch: Monday 8th July at 8pm on BBC One.

(Picture: ISO Images) EastEnders cast are this week filming the big wedding day of Callum ‘Halfway’ Highway (Tony Clay) and Whitney Dean (Shona McGarty) and it promises to be a day to remember – but will the truth about Callum’s sexuality struggle and his passion with Ben Mitchell (Max Bowden) be dramatically exposed in true soap style? The actors have been on location for the big day, with Whitney hoping for her happy ever after while Callum tries his best to cover up his true self and convince himself that this is what he wants. But as the tension between him and Ben continues to sizzle over the summer, will he give in to temptation again? And will Ben – a bit of a loose cannon – expose the truth? (Picture: ISO Images) Or perhaps Callum decides that it’s time he stopped living a lie and told Whitney the truth before they properly commit to one another? Either way, it’s an EastEnders wedding and so unlikely set to be drama free. And with Patsy Palmer back for a stint as Bianca Butcher, things are surely bound to kick off in one way or another. A source told Metro.co.uk: ‘Whitney truly thinks she has found the one in Callum – he’s kind, sensitive, funny and generally decent. But she is completely obvlivious to the struggle he has been enduring. It would shatter Whitney is if her plans for the future were shattered on the day shethinks everything is finally going to fall into place for her. (Picture: ISO Images) ‘As for Callum, he knows he needs to be honest – with himself more than anyone. Ben is unpredictable and could out the truth at any time – so will Callum beat him to it? Or will Callum and Whitney become husband and life, leaving unresolved tensions and even more heartache to come?’ (Picture: ISO Images) It remains to be seen what the outcome will be. Fans recently speculated the identity of a character death after a viewer who was near to the Elstree set claimed to see extras preparing to film a funeral this week too. Metro.co.uk understands that this on location filming is not connected to what is being filmed at the studio so speculation around a Whitney death seems off the mark. (Picture: ISO Images) Between takes, cast members were seen laughing and mucking about together with Ricky Champ and Jamie Borthwick (Stuart and Jay) enjoying a game of football. Others present include Danny Dyer (Mick), Jessie Wallace (Kat), Maisie Smith (Tiffany), Jasmine Armfield (Bex), Davood Ghadami (Kush) and Gillian Wright (Jean).
