HARRIET Finch will bring dodgy Dawn back to the village in Emmerdale as their secret is revealed. The vicar – played by Katherine Dow Blyton – is desperate to track the drug addict down and enlists Charity’s son Ryan Stocks to help her, but will he succeed? Harriet enlists Ryan to help her find Dawn Ryan schemes and makes a call to Dawn’s phone pretending to be a punter who wants to pay her for sex. Later he and Harriet arrive at the rough end of town where Harriet comes face-to-face with Dawn again. She has a huge confrontation with Dawn’s pimp but finally manages to get her to return to the village with her. Harriet then tries her hardest to get through to Dawn, wanting her to stay. Will Dawn stick around and will she be able to make friends in the village after alienating Rhona Goskirk and Pete Barton already? Dawn – played by telly newcomer Olivia Bromley – was first introduced when she hooked up with Ross Barton and helped him track down Simon McManus, the man who threw acid in his face. As viewers of the ITV soap know the Dales hardman believes he killed his daughter Debbie’s boyfriend after punching him, causing Joe to hit his head on a rock. Cain Dingle (L) will be quizzed by the police But Joe was still alive and it was actually his right-hand man Graham Foster who had the grisly task of finishing Joe off. And Cain – played by Jeff Hordley – will find himself having a bit of a wobble when PC Swirling arrives at Butlers Farm with some questions for him. Fortunately for Cain it’s got nothing to do with Joe but comes after step-son Matty Barton gets brutally attacked at a New Year’s Eve party. When Matty comes home battered and bloody and reveals he’s been attacked by a group of local lads, Cain decides to get revenge on Matty’s behalf. Joe’s death is still haunting Cain [article-rail-section title=”Most Read In TV & Showbiz” posts_category=”325″ posts_number=”6″ query_type=”popular” /] But when he confronts Isaac – the lad who attacked Matty – he is plagued by memories of hitting Joe and ends up freezing in his tracks. He also tells her they can’t go to the police about the attacks as he doesn’t think he’ll be able to cope with questioning and could end up revealing what he did to Joe. Bernice Blackstock will be left fighting for her life in Emmerdale over New Year as she falls into a coma after getting some dodgy Botox. Poor Bernice – played by Samantha Giles in the ITV soap – is frantic as her 50th birthday approaches and she becomes horrified at the thought of her new man – Dr Liam Cavanagh – finding out how old she is. Bernice is set to have some dodgy Botox Feeling fragile about her age, Bernice’s interest is piqued when Kerry Wyatt mentions Botox to her. Later, after an incident with Liam that leaves her feeling jealous, Bernice scours the Internet and buys some Botox online. In the village the next day Diane Sugden and Gabby Thomas are amused when they spot Bernice attempting to work out. Now feeling even more insecure than ever Bernice is determined to go through with the Botox. She enlists Kerry – Laura Norton – who injects the Botox into Bernice’s face. But the pair are left terrified when it becomes clear that Bernice is having a reaction to the jabs and is struggling to breathe. She’s rushed into A&E where a doctor explains to Kerry and Liam’s daughter Leanna that Bernice has suffered an allergic reaction to the Botox. THE relationship between Maya Stepney and Jacob Gallagher will step up a gear over Christmas as the pair find themselves drawn back to each other after Maya tries giving Jacob the cold shoulder. The sparks fly between teacher Maya and her student Jacob despite the awkwardness of spending Christmas Day with David Metcalfe and his exes Tracy Shankley and Leyla Harding. Maya and Jacob share a kiss after exchanging gifts Maya – played by Louisa Clein – suggests they all take a walk, but really she just wants to spend time with Jacob. When the pair are alone, Jacob – Joe-Warren Plant – gives Maya a present and they share a kiss. But they are forced to spring apart when they’re interrupted by David – played by actor Matthew Wolfenden. Poor Jacob has to hide and then is forced to listen to Maya and his dad getting it on. The Jacob and Maya storyline looks set to be one of the most controversial in the ITV soap’s history as it was revealed that Emmerdale has been working closely with charity Barnardo’s.
