The Liverpool attacker clearly doesn’t want his countryman to join United (Picture: Getty) Sadio Mane delighted Liverpool fans with his reaction to a banner urging Senegal teammate and Napoli centre-back Kalidou Koulibaly to join Manchester United. The 27-year-old defender has been heavily linked with a move to Old Trafford since last summer, with former manager Jose Mourinho having made a new centre-back one of his top transfer priorities. Koulibaly continues to be linked with United following Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s arrival, though Napoli are believed to be demanding an enormous fee that would top the £75m Liverpool paid for Virgil van Dijk. [metro-zone-post-strip] Mane is lucky enough to play alongside both defenders – one for club and the other for country – though it doesn’t seem like he wants to be facing Koulibaly in the Premier League any time soon. The Liverpool attacker was at an open training session with the Senegal team during the international break and was applauding the fans who had come out to watch – until he spotted a banner in the crowd. Sadio Mané’s thumbs down reaction when he saw the fan's banner "Koulibaly, Come to United". What a legend. 😂😂 pic.twitter.com/UcLR9rn5AE — Samue (@VintageSalah) March 19, 2019 The giant poster had Koulibaly, who was also at the session, photoshopped into a United shirt along with the words, ‘Koulibaly, come to United!’ As Mane walked towards it, he put his thumb down and repeatedly shook his head at the banner, laughing as he did so and lapping up the reaction of the crowd. Napoli centre-back Koulibaly is widely expected to leave Naples this summer (Picture: Getty) Koulibaly has enjoyed another excellent season for Napoli and was even named the Senegal Player of the Year ahead of Mane recently. Solskjaer is believed to have altered United’s transfer plans slightly going into the summer, looking for a new right winger, right-back and central midfielder, though Koulibaly would be at the very top of the list if he does decide to strengthen his central defence.
