It’s a long flight to Bangkok, there’s no way around it. It is almost on the opposite side of the globe. It’s not quite as long as a flight to Africa, or India, or Australia, but it’s close. It’s a 1 hour 50 minute flight from SLC to LAX, a 9 hour 10 minute layover in LAX, a […]
We all weighed in and it was again a mixed bag. Weir, Natty & I at least lost weight… but only Natty actually made her goal… so she won her bitcoin. Greg made fun of my haiku but I think he doesn’t hate sunscreen as much as I do… it always makes me cry. But […]
Or don’t. I arrived on the South Island on the 5th March, which feels like a lifetime ago now. The friends I travelled with then are now gone; home countries, warmer climes and mystery destinations ahead of them all. I was back to my solo venture once more for a while. And in that time […]

As a huge fan of Matt Groening’s earlier work with The Simpsons and Futurama, I was happy to see a new show that reminded me so much of those shows. Tiabeanie was a super easy costume to throw together on a whim, and the photos we got were so fun!
15ish? years. Almost two years. One full year.
How long I’ve been dedicated, for better or worse, to health and fitness. How long I’ve been a certified personal trainer. How long I’ve been a fitness coach. And I can’t believe, with the other two, how LONG it took me to say yes to being a fitness coach last April. I spent months going back and forth, what if I can’t do it, what will people say, what if I fail at it, what if, what if, what if…but here I am a year later, and I’m not stopping now. So, I figured I’d share that I’ve learned in my first year as a fitness coach:
Drunk consent ~ confused Hi, I’m sorry if this is in the wrong community but I’m very unsure of where to post this. Trigger warnings; mentions of rape, suicidal thoughts, sexual abuse, assault. I’m a 25 year old cisgendered woman and have only had horrible experiences of sex. I was abused as a child, and […]
