Psalm 50:15 Call upon Me in the day of trouble; I will deliver you, and you will honor Me.” This psalm was the verse I received as a promise of 2019. Oh I had wished for better lighter bible verses, but as time flew by, God knows I needed it in the series of events. Been studying and […]

1 Timothy 1:17 17 Now unto the King eternal, immortal, invisible, the only wise God, be honour and glory for ever and ever. Amen. Our King is eternal. He was there in the beginning. The Word tells us God was there in the beginning (Genesis 1:1). The Word tells us the Holy Spirit was there […]

The Olive Branch Report

By Cherylz1961 Pitch black, darkness. A lack of light means that there is visual or spiritual impairment. To walk in darkness is to stumble along or live and act according to ignorance, error, sin, even blindness. The Bible states that God created light and that He is light. “And God said, ‘Let there be light,’ […]

GOD TRANSFORMS OUR HEART’S THROUGH MOURNING.  We are continuing our series that is looking at Jesus’ teachings in the Sermon on the mount, which are probably Jesus’ most practical teachings on how to conduct our lives and fulfil his callings, whilst living in the world, but not of the world. John Stott calls them ‘probably the best-known part […]

Pure Judaism

I would like to explain in more detail what the goal of this site is. My goal is not to just rant or complain about Rabbinic Judaism. This is not how the Torah is lived in the Tanach or Hebrew Bible.

Birds of the Bible For Kids

I am currently attending a Bible study class on Heaven. It is very interesting, and of course, when the mention of the various precious stones, with their beautiful colors came up, birds fluttered to mind. I have been accused of having a “bird brain.” [Always thinking about things in relation to birds.] A huge question […]

By Scott S. Mitchell In a previous essay, I laid out the evidence demonstrating why Shem and the ancient high priest Melchizedek couldn’t have been the same person, contrary to popular Mormon belief.  See Why Melchizedek wasn’t Shem, and Why it Does and Doesn’t Matter, elsewhere on this website.  By reading further information on this subject, […]

Astrology is very much a part of my spiritual and mental health journey. I know it is not everyone’s cup of tea – to each their own! But I also think that there is a lot of misconceptions about the art of spiritual star gazing. I will be writing five posts over some common misconceptions. […]

Standing Fast in the Word

“Reaching across the aisle” is a frequently heard expression in politics, particularly of the political party that happens to be in the minority. Usually in practice the majority party is not as excited to accommodate the minority and therefore it is not as excited to make the reach. Reaching across the aisle gives the appearance […]
