HOLLYOAKS’ Cindy Cunningham is set to return to Chester next week after she was swindled out of her home by evil Mac Nightingale and Donna-Marie Quinn. The character, played by Stephanie Waring, has been absent from the Channel 4 soap for several weeks after the menacing duo tampered with her bipolar medication and convinced her to check-in to a private clinic for treatment. Cindy Cunningham is set to return to Chester next week after she was swindled out of her home by evil Mac Nightingale At the time, Mac, played by David Easter, assured Cindy that they could pay for her treatment by re-mortgaging her house. But it was all a ploy as Cindy unwittingly signed over the property to the wicked character. Now fans of Hollyoaks will see Cindy return from her stint in the clinic next week as Mac attempts to guilt his son Alfie into staying in Chester, after he lands an internship in Washington D.C. Finally plucking up the courage to tell his family, Alfie is congratulated by Marnie and James for his exciting break, yet Mac is left unimpressed and tries to guilt him into staying. Confessing her undying love for him, Mac belittles Donna-Marie’s feelings and kicks her out of the home they’ve swindled out of Cindy.
