Alesha was murdered on Isle of Bute last year Giving evidence at the High Court in Glasgow today, the 16-year-old girl, who also can’t be named as she is too young, said she had discussed killings and crime TV shows over Facebook Messenger with the accused in 2017. During the messages, it’s claimed the he told her he would “kill for the life experience”. Other messages said he would probably “stalk her” and “go into her room”. Alesha MacPhail suffered ‘catastrophic’ sexual injuries before and after her death She later messaged: “I’m glad I’m not at the top of your hit list.” He replied: “No one is.” The teenager agreed these were theoretical exchanges where she brought up the subject of murder and at the time caused her no concern, saying they both had a dark sense of humour. She also agreed the conversation was “not serious” and “just rubbish”. Another teen also told jurors that the accused was contributing to a discussion in a Snapchat group called “S5” about Alesha’s death. She replied: “I know it was his bathroom too.” Accused felt “suicidal” A second pal, also 16, revealed a Facebook Messenger chat she had with the accused a year and half ago where she was discussing with him about committing murder and getting away with it. She said: “I went through the conversations to see if they had anything significant. “The accused wrote ‘might kill 1day day for the life experience'” Under cross examination, Mr McConnachie said: “This conversation is just rubbish isn’t it? “You involved the accused in your fantasy because that’s what it is.” She added that the accused became anxious via Snapchat messages a few hours after Alesha had been found dead and said “the police were going to blame it on him”. THE 16-year-old boy accused of killing schoolgirl Alesha MacPhail told a friend he “might kill 1 day for the lifetime experience”, a court heard yesterday. Details of a Facebook messenger chat from 2017 were revealed by a female pal at the High Court in Glasgow. Alesha was murdered on Isle of Bute last year She claimed the accused had made the comment when they were discussing how to commit murder and get away with it. But she told jurors that on the day Alesha, six, was found dead in woodland in Rothesay on the Isle of Bute, he told her he was anxious cops were going to blame him. The witness, also 16, said they would joke about controversial topics as they had a shared dark sense of humour. She said that after he was arrested, she trawled through her messages and found a few where they talked about murder. In exchanges shown to the court, the accused wrote “might kill 1 day for the lifetime experience”. He added: “Probs stalk you, find out the times your out the house. Officer at tribute scene to Alesha Find the most remote location your at and make it look like an accident. Ah wouldn’t even be a suspect by the police.” The lad’s defence lawyer Brian McConnachie said to the girl: “This conversation is just rubbish isn’t it? “You involved the accused in your fantasy because that’s what it is.” The witness agreed. She added that the accused seemed anxious in Snapchat messages a few hours after Alesha’s body was found. She said: “He wrote to me around 12pm and said the police would always blame him for stuff that happened in our area and he was going to get arrested. “I told him to calm down and think logically. “They would question him because he lived in the area and not to worry.” The trial heard that around 12.30am on the same day, the lad had been “suicidal” and in tears because “his mum was drunk all the time”. A second pal told the court the accused had a party at his home on the evening of July 1 which ended just after midnight on July 2. Cops at scene of investigation into death The witness said he left to go for a takeaway but returned to pick up a bag he’d left in the accused’s room. He said: “He wasn’t that good. He didn’t seem in a very good frame of mind. He was crying. He said he was depressed and thinking about harming himself. I was quite worried about him. “I offered to stay or asked him to come to mine but I left him and got home about 1.30am. I messaged him and he told me he was going to get stoned and go to bed.” Later that day, the witness said the lad sent a Snapchat video selfie saying he’d “found the murderer” and pointing to himself. Mr McConnachie said: “The issue was his mum was always drunk, shouting and screaming at him? “Did you know his mum? Does she have a drink problem?” The witness said he wasn’t sure. Alesha MacPhail suffered ‘catastrophic’ sexual injuries before and after her death The boy said his pal was wearing grey Hype jogging bottoms and a black Nike zip-up top at the time. Prosecutor Iain Mr McSporran QC asked the witness: “How did you feel when he was arrested? He replied: “It weirded me out. I thought it was because he was out getting weed at a dodgy time.” A female pal of the accused also told the trial he sent the Snapchat video of himself in his bathroom showing his clothed top half. She said she was in a group chat with him and around 25 others from her year at school. The witness said that on the day Alesha went missing and was found dead, that was all the group talked about. She said: “Messages from his account said what he thought happened and how did she get out the house without anyone noticing. “He then posted a video of himself in the mirror showing his top half but not his face. At the time I thought it was a joke — a bad joke — but a joke.” The girl recalled that text with the video read: “Found the guy who’s done it.” [article-rail-section title=”MOST READ IN NEWS” posts_category=”76″ posts_number=”6″ query_type=”popular” /] Mr McConnachie said: “Did you know it was him because of his name attached to the message?” The witness replied: “I know it was his bathroom too.” Another 16-year-old denied selling the accused cannabis on the day Alesha was found. Asked by Mr McSporran if he had supplied the lad in the early hours of July 2 at his house, the witness replied: “No.” Mr McSporran asked him about the accused’s physique and whether he lifted weights. The boy said: “Yeah, he’s in good shape.” Alesha was staying at her grandparents’ house in Rothesay when she was killed. A post-mortem revealed she had 117 injuries, though some may have been caused by terrain where she was found. The trial has heard she died from significant pressure being applied to her face and neck. The boy, who cannot be named, denies abducting, raping and murdering her and blames Toni McLachlan, 18. The trial continues.
