Doctor said, the vital between communication between cells broken down and so four distinct clump of cells began to behave independently from each other and each went to build separate human being. Personally, I think that identical quadraplet is very cool because you will never feel alone and also I think it is very rare. 2 : HOW SOMEONE CAN LIFE SO LONG WHILE IN A POOR LIFE? Have you ever wonder about people who life so long? Personally, I am not surprise when wealthy or rich people can life long but i really wonder how do poor for example in Kanebo, The Gambia can live so long. Mr. Kamatura had lived for 90 years old while life expentency around their home place is less than 60 years. What is the secret? In fact, the secret to Mr. Kamatura’s longetivity maybe down to the time of year he was conceived. Different food grows in wet and dry season and it seems that what a mother eats around conception can dramatically alter the life span of her baby. As for Mr. Kamatura, he was born on wet season. That is the secret of his longetivity of life where during the wet season, there’s a lot of green vegetable. If mother eat diet with rich leafy green vegetables, it provide a cocktail of chemical which bind to stands of DNA and changes forever how some of our genes work and it also will affect how part of our body are build. To me, I’m very grateful that I was born in Malaysia because as the weather and season along the year was very good for leafy green vegetable to grow. Same to Mr. Kamatura case, leafy green vegetable will help to expand life longetivity ones life. 3 : MELANIE GAYDOS Melanie Gaydos is a famous model in the world of fashion. She was very unique and very successful in her career but somehow, with her physical condition she forces many circumstances before becoming a successful model. Melanie has a problem with growing a few part of her body which are hair, skin and teeth. This situation called ectodermal dysplosia. How does it happen? Every of us has three layer of cells. Bottom cell are cells which build gut and liver. Middle cell was destined to became kidney, muscles, bones and blood. Lastly the top cell. Top cell was to grow skin, hair and teeth and Melanie had a problem with her top cell where she cannot grow those three part of her body. As I saw Melanie life story, I realise that i should be gratefull with my life now because, not to say that I am perfect but I have every part of my body on with me. Compare to Melanie she is a little bit different where she cannot grow a few part of her body. At the same time, I do adore her successfulness because she was from noting to something and also she never regret her life. EPISODE 2 : STAGE 2 : EMBRYONIC STAGE 1 : BOY OR GIRL Johny, is a boy that had a problem to grow his penis untill age 12. He raised as a girl since was a baby. How does it happen? At conception, we all inherit genes that instructs our bodies to make us make and female. Only for 8 week, if you are male , your genes instruct our bodies to release critical hormone called testosterone. This should trigger a rather important physical transformation where we start to grow a penis. But somehow, in Johny case, the body does not respond to the testosterone. Forst 8 week, male or female, we all have protuvision called tubercle and a set of internal glands which are called gonalds. If you are male, gene on Y – chromosome constracts gonalds become testicles. This leads to the creation of a powerfull form of testosterone, dihydrotestosterone which turns the tubercle into a penis. If you are female, your gonald become your ovaries. If you do not make dihydrotestosterone and your tubercle will becoma a ditoris. After reading about Johny case, I think that it must be hard for him to face his childhood period as he cannot recognise his gender status whether penis or vagina. 2 : OUR FACE Have you ever wonder how do your face look like? Is it look like your mom or your dad? We probably look a bit liken one of our parents, or perhaps mixture of two. But somehow there are also some peoplewho does not have similar look like one of their parents face. One reason why some of us look so different may be because the gene that create that face are switch on of at different time. Just 4 weeks ago, the embryo was the size of an apple pip. Then, gene inherited from our ancient fishy ancestors switched on and created gill-like structures called pharyngeal arches. These change become part of the ear, jaw and throat untill at last a human face emerged. The final part comes together around if anything interupts the complex assembly the jigsaw will never be completed. For example, Oliver’s face was different from her parents. He had cleft lip. It was a result of a random genetic mutation. Personally, I think my face is more similar to my father but my fingers are look like my mom’s finger. 3 : ALBINO What is your skin colour? Colour we are end up with us created in a room. The foundation for our skin colour are laid untill 13 weeks. Untill then, we appear transparent through beneath the surface, a transformation is underway. A swarm of cells melanocytes spread and they will release a pigment called melanin which can reduce skin cancer. The amount is depend on your ethnicity and the more you make the darker your skin. What do you think if you are originally black skin people but your skin is white? That happen to Nassor Kassim, 28 and a few of his friends. They should have dark skin but has a genetic condition which means most of his melanocytes are unable to make melanine that cause albino. From Kassim story I learn something very important which is no matter how different our skin colour is, we are all the same. We are still human that have our own right to choose and make decision in life. The very important thing is, everyone deserve happiness. EPISODE 3 : STAGE 3 : THE FETAL STAGE LIFE WITHOUT BONE Adult skeleton made up of 200 bones and also made of supple cartilage. Week 25, the pelvis our largest bone will be forming. Jannelly, 9 year old girl was born without ability to make bones. Our bone are formed by special cells called osteoblasts. They swam around the skeleton replacing the cartilage with a hard calcium-based-mineral but this process produces a damaging chemical which stop our bones from hardening. So the body has developed a response and a gene is activated, creating a proteiin TNSALP. Which neutralises the damaging chemical. In Janelly case, the gene is faulty so her supple cartilage will never turn to strong bone that leaving her on the edge of survival. To me, bone is very important to our body because no matter how good is our brain, if we do not have bone we cannot do much as much as if we have bone. 2 : BRAIN Cells transform into wonderful, complex structures, leading oat to connect with each other.
