Deconstruction of me

I understand why Superman needed a fortress of solitude.  It’s because the world and the people he swore to protect sucked.  The human race didn’t deserve him, so from time-to-time he needed to get away from the world and regroup his thoughts and feelings so that he didn’t use his laser eyes to burn the […]

JBs Joyful Journey

More of California and high gas prices… We left Joshua Tree on May 27th and headed to the San Diego area.  We stayed in a nice regional park called Sweetwater located in Bonita, CA.  It’s about 20 miles from downtown San Diego! We absolutely LOVE San Diego and if weren’t for the high cost of […]

Just an Old Girl

… I wish it was Sunday, ‘cos that’s my fun day… (Well, no, not really. But now I had to finish that piece of song text in my mind LOL.) I leave the house at ten minutes to eight. The air feels soft and light and pleasant. This will change, starting tomorrow and my world […]

Tracy Dayton, Writer and Blogger

“Enough is enough!” I spat out loud to no one in particular. Two months, one week and three days since I Blogged. At this rate I’ll be older than Grandma Moses by the time I achieve any degree of a writer’s platform! An old neighbor of mine once said that there are only twelve days […]

Alisa Jordan Writes

Two of my friends in London (who don’t know each other) were recently offered the opportunity to move abroad as part of their career. My friend Jay* was offered a job in her dream country, Taiwan**, a place that she had actually lived before and that she knew she would thoroughly enjoy. My other friend […]

In Touch Weekly
She’s trying to find “home.” Amy Roloff shared with her Instagram followers that she’s house hunting, and has been for several months now. “The hunt continues 😊🏡 ,” the Little People, Big World star wrote on July 21. “I’ve been through or seen more doors in the last 6+ months. And well, I thought I had found the house I could make into a home again 🏡 but I got beat out again by a higher offer. It wasn’t meant to be yet … I guess.” Poor Amy. The 54-year-old reality star continued, “Just as the decision I made to take a buyout on my half of the farm property (just the DW side for now) was hard, finding ‘that’ house is being just as challenging. I’m trying to be patient for I don’t want to settle for anything … the hunt continues.” She then asked her followers, “I’m curious, how many wish/want to move or glad you’re right where you’re at? What are your key things you like /look for in a house? Gather … #amyroloffssecondact #househunting #continues #houseintoahome #keeplooking #patience.” View this post on Instagram The hunt continues 😊🏡 I’ve been through or seen more doors in the last 6+ months. Gather… #amyroloffssecondact #househunting #continues #houseintoahome #keeplooking #patience A post shared by Amy Roloff (@amyjroloff) on Jul 21, 2019 at 2:19pm PDT On the season finale of Little People, Big World, Amy accepted a buyout from her ex-husband, Matt Roloff, for one side of the family farm. “This process has not been easy for me,” she said on the show. “I will be glad when it’s completely done and we part ways.” Now, it looks like she’s trying to get even more distance and find somewhere that’s really “hers” to cherish in the future. “Be patient, when it’s right it will happen,” one fan reassured Amy in the comments of her post. Another person wrote, “The welcoming feeling will be there when you walk in, it’s like the walls will talk to you LOL, but when its meant to be it will happen and it will be perfect💜💜.” [jwplayer Fo5OfC0N-8t2DpQMJ] A different fan even asked Amy whether she’s interested in flipping a house as part of the process. “No,” she responded. “That’s just not me. Hey, we can’t all be a Chip or Joanna Gaines, right? Hopefully, Amy finds the perfect house for herself very soon, and with any luck, it’ll be perfect for grandkid get-togethers with Jackson and Ember Roloff and any future grandbabies.

The Fatherhood Blog

It’s not a secret. People just act like it is during the pregnancy process.  Most people don’t like to talk about it for their own reasons, and it’s completely understandable. Maybe it’s too personal. Others want to talk about it, but are worried they’ll be judged.  I don’t think we have to elaborate in graphic […]
