A SICK mum sent home from hospital with antibiotics died days later from cancer. Watchdogs ruled the patient was “unreasonably” discharged after going to A&E twice in 72 hours complaining of vomiting. The sick mum passed away at Lorn and Islands Hospital Five days later she returned again and was admitted to a ward, where scans revealed the devastating news that she had the disease — and that it had spread throughout her body. She deteriorated at Lorn and Islands Hospital in Oban, Argyll, before passing away soon afterwards. Tanning addict who shunned sun cream has tip of nose cut off after tiny pimple turned out to be skin cancer In a scathing report, the Scottish Public Services Ombudsman upheld a complaint by the son of the woman, known only as Mrs A. It blasted NHS Highland chiefs over a delay in getting a CT scan and giving inaccurate information to family members. We Built It Blog by Larry Jacob

Enigma: Difficult to understand, mysterious, baffling. To a large extent, that has been the essence of Biden’s presidential campaign strategy so far. First, he couldn’t decide whether or not to run, even though all the polls consistently showed him to be the clear favorite for the Dem nomination and even the election, itself. Then, when […]

Supermum

Wow, what an amazing response to my first blog. On my hour long journey to work this morning, I found myself becoming emotional. I didn’t quite understand why, but I came to the conclusion it was a feeling of liberation. Don’t get me wrong, I talk about this stuff. A lot. To the point I […]
