Logan Feldbrugge added 15 points and eight rebounds, while Anthony Sanchez provided 15 points and six rebounds. Aptos (3-4) will open the Carmel Invitational on Thursday against Monterey. Alisal falls to 4-1 on the season. St. Francis 57, at Gonzales 45: C.J. Gomez and Andrew Seymour led the Sharks with 13 points in their nonleague road victory against Gonzales on Tuesday. Seymour added five steals. Joseph Ramirez added 11 points and E.J. Kelly had 11 points and eight assists, while Jake Taylor provided the Sharks with eight rebounds. St. Francis will open the Watsonville Wildcatz Tournament on Thursday against Gonzales. Stevenson 57, at Scotts Valley 53: Tom Codiga scored 12 points in the Falcons’ nonleague loss to visiting Stevenson on Tuesday. Paul Hanson added nine points, seven rebounds and two blocks, Derek Tom provided nine points, and Ryan Harris had eight points, seven rebounds, five blocks and one steal. Scotts Valley (2-10) will open the Watsonville Wildcatz Tournament on Thursday against Marina. Girls basketball At Santa Cruz 48, North Monterey 19: Bella Stevens scored 16 points to lead the Cardinals past visiting North Monterey County in nonleague play on Tuesday. Morgan Larkin scored nine points for Santa Cruz (6-3), which was scheduled to play Terra Nova on Wednesday. Final results were not official by the Sentinel’s press time. Monte Vista Christian 55, at Stevenson 37: Mackenzie Tellez recorded 20 points, four rebounds, one assist, one block and four steals to lead the Mustangs in nonleague play on Tuesday. Madison Hill added 14 points, five rebounds and one steal, while Angelina Cortes had nine points, five rebounds, one steal and one block. Paloma Ramirez added six points, six rebounds, one assist and two steals for MVC (5-2), which will host Santa Cruz on Thursday. Girls soccer Aptos 1, at Saint Francis-Mountain View 1: Gisselle Vasquez scored an unassisted goal in the Mariners’ 1-1 draw with host Saint Francis of Mountain View in nonleague play on Tuesday. Caroline Miller had 11 saves in net for the Mariners (3-0-2), who will play at Sobrato on Thursday.
