The 1980 Floor Show (a pun on the song ‘1984’) was Bowie’s first appearance since his infamous retirement of Ziggy Stardust on 3 July 1973 at the Hammersmith Odeon.  It was also his final appearance as Ziggy. The 1980 Floor Show was a spectacular stage production, filmed over 3 days at The Marquee Club in Soho, London.
