Man United are the team to beat in the Premier League at the moment. The Red Devils have won all SEVEN of their games under the loving watch of Ole Gunnar Solskjaer – with a number of their players finding a new lease of life with the Norwegian. In particular, Paul Pogba and Marcus Rashford have been in blindingly prolific form since the club binned off Jose Mourinho, with both on target once again in the win over Brighton at the weekend. Men in form Fantasy football: Here’s why you really need to pick Marcus Rashford for your Premier League team In fact, Rashford has been so good recently, that we think it’s time to seriously consider picking him for your fantasy football team. The 21-year-old made his 150th appearance for his boyhood club on Saturday and celebrated the occasion by netting his fifth Premier League goal under Solskjaer – bringing his total for the season up to nine goals in all competitions. He’s also proven to be a pretty decent playmaker, notching six assists in the top-fight so far. But what we’re most interested in is his Dream Team points total, which has just ticked over 100 points for the season – he’s on 104 points, to be exact – with 54 of those earned since Solskjaer’s first game in charge in the win over Cardiff on December 22. Loving life After the game, Solskjaer said Rashford is “playing the best football in his career” and “can be absolutely top class”. We completely agree. With Solskjaer in charge, Rashford is relishing his chance as a No.9, racking up more shots, 26, in 502 minutes of football under his new manager than the 19 he managed in 846 minutes under Mourinho. That means he’s registered a shot every 19.3 minutes under Solskjaer, compared to one every 45 minutes under Mourinho. He’s only getting better too, as he finished up with a WhoScored rating of 8.40 in the match against Brighton – the highest he’s got up under Solskjaer. That was good enough to see him pick up his first Star Man award of the season, which we all know means an extra Dream Team bonus of +5 points. His lack of regular starting opportunities under Mourinho made us distinctly wary of selecting him for fantasy football, while he’s never truly been a prolific goal-scorer, until now. Indeed, we’ve seen a spike in Dream Team managers selecting Rashford for their team in recent weeks, but he’s still been picked for just 16% of teams. We think that needs to change.  Pick me, pick me At present, Rashford is valued at just £3.0m on Dream Team, which is cheaper than the likes of Romelu Lukaku (£4.8m), Callum Wilson (£4.2m) and Alvaro Morata (£3.7m). He’s also proven to be a first-team regular under Solskjaer, which gives him a great chance of adding to his points tally. After their FA Cup clash with Arsenal on Friday – which is a fixture Rashford often performs well in – United face Burnley, Leicester and Fulham, before their big one against PSG. It could be a very fruitful few weeks for the England starlet, as there’s not too many forwards in better form at the moment. BRENDAN RODGERS says he won’t push the panic button by simply stockpiling players. Rodgers has bolstered his attacking options this month by signing Oliver Burke, Timothy Weah and Vakoun Issouf Bayo. Brendan Rodgers is hopeful of continuing his January transfer business But the Hoops boss also wants to end a long-running search for a new right-back – with FC Porto’s Fernando Fonseca in the frame. However, with the clock ticking towards the transfer deadline, Rodgers vowed he won’t bring in signings for the sake of it. He said: “They have to really be able to make a genuine difference. “If you’re not spending maybe a lot of money on that then you always have to be careful that you just don’t stockpile players. I’m always conscious of that. You’ll always wait for quality. Fernando Fonseca is under consideration “If you’re going to bring in any players they have to be of real, genuine quality, but they also have to be able to enhance our group. “There’s no point in us bringing in players who are just going to add to the players that we already have. “They have to be really able to bring a genuine difference. Former Rangers trialist Andrew Gutman has been working with the reserves “A club like Celtic with this status, and the demands of here, you always have to be looking outside as well. “So that’s something that is ongoing. But we want to bring in quality, that would be the message.” SunSport revealed the champions’ interest in £2million-rated Portugal Under-21 cap Fonseca last night. FEVER PITCH Brendan Rodgers reveals there’s a DISEASE rotting £1.5m Parkhead pitch But Rodgers was tight-lipped on a potential move, saying: “I’ve got nothing to say on any players.” Rodgers also confirmed Chicago United right-back Andrew Gutman has been “working with the reserve team” after the American featured in a friendly against Arbroath on Saturday. While Celtic are actively looking to add to their squad, the champions are also hopeful of offloading a number of players. Dorus de Vries, Cristian Gamboa, Marvin Compper, Jonny Hayes, Kundai Benyu, Youssouf Mulumbu and Calvin Miller could also leave, either on loan or permanently. Jose Mourinho offered some interesting observations during his two-game stint as a pundit on BeIN Sports, but his advice to Arsenal manager Unai Emery that Mesut Ozil “needs a little bit of care and a little bit of love” to perform at his best was the one which would have had everyone at Manchester United […]

MAN UNITED stars Paul Pogba and Nemanja Matic offered photos as a way of an apology for a noisy game of Uno – but an Australian couple only found out who they were from their son 10,000 miles away. Nate Patrick, an eSports commentator, was stunned after his parents sent the unlikely images via a family WhatsApp group after meeting during a trip to England. Paul Pogba and Nemanja Matic posed for pictures with an Oz couple who had no idea who they were United’s £129m pair were told off by Patrick’s unassuming father after their game of Uno had become rowdy, and in return, Pogba offered to take a picture as an apology. The clueless couple then handed the £200,000-a-week star their phone to take a picture of THEM before a confused Pogba admitted he meant he was offering a photo with himself and Matic. Despite being unsure on who the two men were, Patrick senior accepted the footballer’s offer so as to not be deemed impolite to his fellow passengers. A bewildered Patrick senior posted the image in the family’s group to his son 10,000 miles away, asking: “OK Nath – who is this?” The couple’s football mad son was left enraged by his parents bewilderment United’s £129m pair were made aware they were causing a disturbance with their game The parents fail to see anything wrong with what they did The hilarious thread has been widely circulated online An astonished Nathan then exasperatedly responded: “The man with his arm around dad is Paul Pogba, the most expensive footballer in the world, and World Cup winner with France.” The FIFA 19 streamer then threatened to leave the chat before his mum replied that he should be “proud” of them and they were “quite friendly if that’s any consolation!” A dumbfounded Nathan then added: “That makes it worse. Paul Pogba made you take a photo. He basically begged you for it.” His parents revealed the train had come from Manchester and both Pogba and Matic were enjoying some time off after a warm-down session on Sunday. Pogba and Matic showed their competitive edge as they challenged each other at Uno Both played their part as Ole Gunnar Solskjaer make it seven wins from seven with Pogba notching his fifth goal under his interim manager in the 2-1 win against Brighton. SunSport exclusively revealed the rejuvenated French midfielder is ready to make a sensational Man U-turn and sit down for talks over a contract extension at Old Trafford. The 25-year-old World Cup winner is United’s second highest paid player on a monstrous £290,000-a-week at present. And he would be looking for an increase on his wage to put him somewhere near Alexis Sanchez, who is on a Premier League high of £505,000-a-week.
