MIRACLE racing driver Sophia Floersch is targeting a return to the track just three months after escaping death in a 172 mph horror crash. Formula 3’s 18-year-old Floersch was involved in the horrific accident in November which required 11 hours of surgery on a broken spine. Miracle crash survivor Sophia Floersch is targeting a return to the track The death-defying German has fully recovered from the smash in Macau and wants to be back behind the wheel within two months. Floersch told ITV’s Good Morning Britain: “Physically, I’m completely fine. My confidence is even higher than before because I really want to get back in the car. “I hope to get back in the car before the beginning of March.” Speaking with presenters Susanna Reid and Piers Morgan, Floersch recalled the day of the incident which she described as a “miracle”.
