The following information is compiled from Red Bluff Police Department, Red Bluff Fire, Tehama County Sheriff’s Department, Corning Police Department, Corning Fire, Cal Fire and California Highway Patrol logs. Arrest Dustin Lee Bass: 29, of Cottonwood was arrested Tuesday in the 100 block of Dale Road and charged with assault with a deadly weapon. Bail was $1,500. Boating River View Drive, cross of Squaw Creek Place: A wave runner flipped over about 7 p.m. Tuesday in the area of the Steelhead Landing in Cottonwood. The man and his girlfriend riding it were uninjured, but not able to get the vessel back to the boat launch. Fight Vista Way: Officers responded about 5:30 p.m. Tuesday for a 10-year-old boy that was assaulted by another 10-year-old boy at the Meadow Vista Apartments. A citation was issued. Crash 16000 block Red Bank Road: Two 15-year-old girls were injured when a Polaris Ranger side by side ATV crashed just before 3 p.m. Tuesday. The driver, a Red Bluff girl, was in a field when her dog ran in front of her and she made a hard turn to avoid hitting it, causing the vehicle to roll. The driver had minor injuries. Her passenger had a possible broken leg and was taken to St. Elizabeth Community Hospital. Disturbance Green Drive: A woman reported her husband bit her finger during an argument and was throwing furniture about 1:45 p.m. Tuesday. Fire Flores, cross of Rawson: Cal Fire responded at 11:23 a.m. to a fully involved trailer full of hay. The fire, caused by a blown tire, was contained by 1:30 p.m. and there were no injuries. Hit and run Walnut Street, cross of Monroe: A Coca Cola truck ran through the railroad crossing arms, damaging them. It was last seen headed east on Walnut. One crossing arm was damaged and repaired. Missing Richfield Road, cross of Finnell Road: A male dachshund went missing while a transport company was stopped in the Corning area. The dog was wearing a black collar with an Agave Rescue tag on it. Red Bluff: Timothy Cunningham, 60, reported missing Monday, was found in good condition. Suspicious Montgomery Road: A person heard someone kicking and yelling inside a white van with a ladder rack about 2:15 p.m. Tuesday near the Greenville Rancheria Health Clinic. Solano Street, cross of West Street: A woman in a white T-shirt and jeans was running around Corning about 8:45 a.m. Tuesday with her pants down. Thefts Washington Street: A vehicle stolen from the Cabernet Apartments was found in Chico. Threats South Main Street: A man loitering in front of Harbor Freight was asked to leave around 2 p.m. Tuesday. He charged into the store and told a woman he would harm her about. Kenneth Daniel Bedford, 53, of Red Bluff was arrested and charged with criminal threat. Bail was $50,500.
