SPOILER ALERT: The following post contains the results from Monday night’s “America’s Got Talent: The Champions” season finale, which has already aired on the East Coast. The “super fans” have spoken. “America’s Got Talent: The Champions” — the first international edition of the franchise — came to an end Monday night with a glitzy two-hour season finale. And when it was over, host Terry Crews announced that the ultimate champion of champions is … Magician Shin Lim! Shin edged out singing ventriloquist Darci Lynne Farmer to capture the title. Sand artist Kseniya Simonova finished third, while opera rock singer Cristina Ramos finished fourth. Comedian Preacher Lawson rounded out the Top 5. @ShinLimMagic wins #AGTFinale #AGT !!! So well deserved. He is an unbelievable talent. Truly special. — Lee Lassiter (@lee_lassiter) February 19, 2019 “AGT: The Champions” was touted as a global competition, one that brought together 50 competitors from past seasons and editions around the world. But the finale came down to a couple of recent winners of NBC’s American version of the franchise. Farmer captured the “AGT” title in Season 12, and Lim prevailed just last summer in Season 13.   After the field of 12 finalists was trimmed to five during the last 20 minutes of Monday’s finale, Lim, 27, claimed the trophy and the $25,000 top prize. Having been chosen by a panel of super fans representing all 50 states, he made history as the first contestant to win two straight “Got Talent” competitions. “It’s crazy, to be honest. I still have to pinch myself,” Lim told PEOPLE. “First winning ‘AGT’ was crazy to me, but winning Champions was even more crazy. It’s very overwhelming and super exciting.” “To be honest, when I’m watching back all the acts, my fiancée Casey and I are like, ‘How the hell did I win this?’ Everyone is so good, if not better,” he added. “Some of the acts were better than me. I don’t think I can call myself the champion of champions because I don’t really believe it. I mean, Deadly Games is throwing knives and I’m just doing card tricks! I kind of don’t believe it, but I guess I just have to get used to it.” Modesty aside, Lim’s sleight-of-hand artistry was, as usual, spectacular. The resident of Acton, Massachusetts sealed the deal during last week’s final showdown with a mind-boggling performance that judge Simon Cowell said “blew the roof off” the theater.” Monday’s show, which brought back some performers from past editions, featured several intriguing duets and collaborations. It was also the last one with the current “AGT” judges. Heidi Klum and Mel B are leaving the show. Julianne Hough and Gabrielle Union will be joining the panel of judges with Simon Cowell and Howie Mandel.
