It’s hard to not give this book 5 stars because I poured through it – I mean, I couldn’t put the story down! It was intense, creepy, thrilling, and so unique from what I normally read. This is my first Colleen Hoover novel, and certainly NOT my last. (Which is sort of funny because I […]

NATIONAL REVIEW The New, New Anti-Semitism by Victor Davis Hanson January 15, 2019 …The new form of the old bias grew most rapidly on the 1960s campus and was fueled by a number of leftist catalysts. Justin Bieber and Hailey Baldwin have set the first weekend in March as the date for their second and — in their view — real wedding, TMZ reported Thursday.  The couple will exchange vows in a religious ceremony that will be held in the Los Angeles area, TMZ said. Family and famous friends also are expected to be present, including Kylie Jenner and Travis Scott. The proudly religious pop star and supermodel wed in a civil ceremony at a New York City courthouse in September, but didn’t view themselves as truly married because they didn’t exchange vows “in the eyes of God,” TMZ reported in October. The reason the March wedding date is known is because “save the date” emails have gone out to some of the couple’s famous friends, including Jenner and Scott. Sources familiar with the planning also told TMZ that the March weekend was chosen because March 1 is Bieber’s 25th birthday. The singer wanted to be a “married” man by his next birthday, sources said. The couple initially kept their first wedding a secret, but were heard referring to each other as “husband” and “wife” during outings. They officially confirmed they were married in October, and Baldwin changed her Instagram handle to @HaileyBieber in November. Bieber and Baldwin first dated for a time in 2016, in between his two romantic stints with Selena Gomez and other pretty young women, celebrity or otherwise, including model Baskin Champion. Starting in early June, Bieber and Baldwin sparked rumors that they were dating again after they were seen out together for a weekend in Miami, according to Harper’s Bazaar. In the following weeks, the two were photographed getting affectionate in New York City and hitting the beach in the Hamptons over the July 4 holiday. In addition to wealth, fame and good looks, the couple share a devotion to God, with the celebrity-friendly Hillsong Church in Los Angeles serving as one of their favorite spots for date nights during their whirlwind romance over the summer, according to People. “Justin has a really deep faith, and he truly loves God,” a source told People in 2017. That year, Beiber turned to the church after canceling the remainder of his Purpose world tour during what was described a personal and spiritual crisis. “He has found a church family that accepts him and loves him for who he is, not for his fame or money,” the source said. Bieber’s love of God certainly was present in his Instagram post in July, announcing that he became engaged to Baldwin during a vacation getaway in the Bahamas. Indeed, he wrote as if his love for Baldwin and their engagement was the work of divine intervention. Bieber gushed about how committed he is to leading “our family with honor and integrity, letting Jesus through his Holy Spirit guide us in everything we do and every decision we make.” Meanwhile, TMZ made it sound as though Baldwin and Bieber changed the date for the West Coast wedding several times. Guests, including possibly Jenner and Scott, reportedly received three “save the date” emails over the past several months. Of course, the mention of Jenner and Scott raises questions about other famous attendees, whether the guest list also includes Bieber’s ex-girlfriend Selena Gomez or Baldwin’s uncle Alec Baldwin. No doubt, actor Stephen Baldwin should be at the wedding to play father of the bride, and perhaps he could even perform the service. Stephen Baldwin also is a minister in New York who appreciates Bieber’s devotion to Christian values. He was among the first to congratulate Bieber and his daughter when they became engaged. However, Stephen Baldwin, a conservative pundit and Trump supporter, has a difficult relationship with his older brother Alec Baldwin, who is famously liberal and satirizes Trump on “Saturday Night Live.” So it’s questionable whether Alec Baldwin would be invited. Indeed, in an interview with the Hollywood Reporter, Alec Baldwin compared Stephen to a Nazi movie character, saying “To me, he’s like Rolfe in ‘The Sound of Music.’ He’s just hanging out with the wrong crowd. I don’t know if we want to invite him to the Christmas caroling party.”
