Zara Tindall and husband Mike couldn’t be more loved up (Picture: AJIMAGES.CO.UK) Zara and Mike Tindall are going head to head in an upcoming episode of Top Gear. Yes, the loved up couple, who have been married for more than eight years, have been spotted behind the driver’s seat, and it sounds as though things got a bit wild. While filming for the highly anticipated motoring show, alongside Paddy McGuinness, Freddie Flintoff and Chris Harris, the duo whizzed around a racing track at Dunsfold Aerodrome, in Surrey. The Queen’s granddaughter showed her hubby what she was made of as she climbed into a red Toyota GT86 coupé. And it seems the former rugby union player had no fear as he sat in the passenger seat besides her. The challenge, dubbed star in a reasonably priced car, was to see who could get the fastest time around the track, and by the sounds of things, the Olympian gave Mike a run for his money. The pair were filming filming Top Gear’s star in a reasonably priced car (Picture: AJMIMAGES.CO.UK) They shared a quick kiss on set (Picture: AJMIMAGES.CO.UK) When chatting to the Mail Online, a source recalled: ‘She really went for it. She came off the track three or four times. ‘But she wasn’t scared and showed some real bottle. It was very quick for a wet lap.’ After reaching the finish line in their white helmets, the pair were spotted giving each other a kiss after their exhilarating day. Sources say they are affectionate (Picture: AJMIMAGES.CO.UK) An onlooker said: ‘They are really affectionate for a couple who have been married for a few years. ‘They were always hugging and kissing each other.’ Top Gear is no stranger to taking risks, as Freddie recently revealed he thought he’d killed his co-host Paddy when filming a stunt. The competition was real (Picture: AJMIMAGES.CO.UK) Paddy McGuinness and Freddie Flintoff watched on (Picture: AJMIMAGES.CO.UK) ‘It was Chris’s fault. He was egging me on, and I was trying to get around this corner and there was a bit of a bump,’ the 41-year-old explained. The presenter was the driving the hearse which had his co-stars in the back when it accidentally rolled over. He told Top Gear magazine: ‘I’ve rolled a car before in Wales and it was the same thing – it started going over and everything seemed to just slow down a little bit. [metro-tag-post-strip] ‘Chris got out really quickly and I was shouting to Paddy in the back, but getting nothing back.’ He added: ‘I had genuine panic for 10 seconds because I couldn’t hear. It’s one thing hurting yourself, but you don’t want to hurt anyone else.’ Top Gear continues Sundays at 8pm on BBC Two. Sheridan has spoken candidly in a new interview (Picture: Mike Marsland/Mike Marsland/WireImage) Sheridan Smith has spoken about the prospect of having children in the near future, admitting that she doesn’t know if she could ‘cope’ with becoming a mother. The actress and singer, who turns 38 tomorrow (25 June), spoke about motherhood during a candid interview with The Daily Telegraph’s Stella magazine over the weekend. ‘Oh God, I don’t know,’ she said. ‘Yes on the one hand, but then am I actually ready? Could I cope? I have to ask myself serious questions like this. ‘My mum tells me she knows I could. She watched me with my dad in the last few days of his life and told me if I could be that caring I would be a perfect mother – but I don’t know. ‘I just know I’m not perfect.’ Sheridan is currently starring in Joseph And The Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat on Lonond’s West End (Picture: WENN.com) The interview also saw Sheridan address her infamous (and long since-deleted) tweet where she accused the mother of her fiancé, Jamie Horn, of killing one of her dogs. ‘I was drunk, upset, emotional and angry and…’ she explained about the post. ‘Can you believe I, of all people, went and put it on Insta again. How many times can I rant off on Insta and regret it and then do it again? ‘I’m such a knob.’ View this post on Instagram So I’m off to work in the theatre dressed in my usual chavtastic attire and the better half is off to work in the city dressed like James Bond! I’m well punching 😂😍 A post shared by Sheridan Smith OBE (@sheridansmithster) on Jun 17, 2019 at 4:43am PDT Sheridan’s relationship with Jamie, 28, is still going strong, and the Cilla actress last month dismissed speculation that the pair had married in secret. ‘I do wear two bands on my hand, mainly because this one is too big and I just keep it on,’ she told This Morning. ‘Jamie does wear his wedding ring, but we’re not actually married. ‘We just do it. My friends do that but no one actually talks about it. So we didn’t think about it when we took a picture and put it on Twitter, then of course everyone thought we were married.’ [metro-fact-box id=”7022752″ title=”Got a showbiz story?” icon=”exclamation” /] [metro-link url=”https://metro.co.uk/2019/06/24/sheridan-smith-finally-addresses-graham-nortons-2016-bafta-joke-tipped-edge-10034637/” title=”Sheridan Smith finally addresses Graham Norton’s 2016 Bafta joke: ‘It tipped me over the edge’”] [metro-link url=”https://metro.co.uk/2019/06/05/sheridan-smith-says-late-dad-would-have-been-proud-of-her-75th-d-day-anniversary-performance-9831614/” title=”Sheridan Smith says late dad would have been ‘proud’ of her 75th D-Day anniversary performance”]

Despite it being three years down the line, the 37-year-old has addressed the presenter’s puns, which were made at her expense. At the time of the ceremony, the singer come actress was going through hardship after finding out her father, Colin, had been diagnosed with cancer. Her ‘extreme anxiety’ forced Sheridan to pull out of a West End production of Funny Girl, leaving fans speculating whether or not she had turned to drink. However, even though the City Of Stars songstress denied the claims, Graham still poked fun at the drama. The now 56-year-old told the audience: ‘We’re all excited for a couple of drinks tonight. ‘Or, as it’s known in theatrical circles, a few glasses of technical difficulties.’ Sheridan Smith was not impressed with Graham Norton’s 2016 Bafta joke (Picture: WENN.com) Talking about the gag years later, Sheridan revealed that it ‘tipped her over the edge.’ Chatting to Stella Magazine, the Cleaning Up star confessed: ‘I just lost it. ‘I was in unbelievable distress, trying to keep it all together and then a room full of people in my industry were just laughing at me…’ At the time, Sheridan posted  a string of tweets where she hit back at Graham’s quip, however she claims she doesn’t remember posting them. She explained: ‘Drink. Desperation. Humiliation. I fell over the edge.’ He teased the star after she pulled out of a West End show (Picture: BBC) Later that year, Sheridan’s dad sadly passed away at the age of 80 following his battle against caner. The Gavin And Stacey actress has since spoken out about his death, when appearing on the Jonathan Ross Show, and the subsequent affect it had on her mental health. ‘It was the worst thing,’ she said: ‘I hate it and I always think “the show must go on” and I hate letting anyone down, but I think the public understood in a way that you can’t choose when these things happen. ‘It was a gradual build up when my dad got diagnosed and I just couldn’t continue, I lost my mind, I completely did to the point where people were stopping me in the street and cuddling me because people understand that, it’s just life.’ [metro-tag-post-strip] Sheridan added: ‘I’d been performing anyway leading up to that, and I’ve always had a bit of anxiety, and so I was a little bit nervous but the catalyst of it all was my dad. ‘Now I’m in a better place, I want to say “it’s okay not to be okay,” because I didn’t speak about it and then it snowballed and it came to this huge head.’ Metro.co.uk have reached out to the Baftas and Graham’s reps for further comment.  [metro-fact-box id=”6306324″ title=”Need support?
