NEWCOMER Arabella Chi took Anton Danyluk and model Danny Williams on a date in the midst of his relationship problems with Yewande Biala.
The move certainly didn’t sit well with the scientist, who was later told by Amber Gill that she could potentially lose her beau if she wasn’t careful – but what else happened in episode 16?
London model Arabella Chi arrived at the villa
What happened in tonight’s episode?
Following her arrival at the villa, Arabella headed straight to the garden while her fellow islanders were still sleeping.
Curtis Pritchard was the first to leave the bedroom and head to the kitchen for his morning coffee.
It wasn’t long before the ballroom dancer took notice of the model from London and surged back inside to inform the others.
In the Beach Hut, Amy Hart jokingly recalled how “we woke up to Curtis telling us there was a new girl in the villa. Obviously, he was lying, there is a supermodel in the villa.”
The other islanders made Arabella feel right at home with a warm welcome
While Anton stressed over his appearance before meeting Arabella, the others couldn’t wait to give the newcomer a full tour of the villa.
Despite the cheerful atmosphere, Lucie Donlan brought up the fact that she knew Arabella because she used to stalk her – the two were both romantically linked to former Love Island star Charlie Frederick.
After being introduced to all of the islanders, the 28-year-old beauty from London didn’t hesitate to mention how she felt like “they’ve warmed to me really well. Obviously, I’m going to have to tread on toes and I want to find love. That’s the goal.”
Later on in the day, Arabella received a text message that mentioned she would be heading out on two dates – but who was she going to pick?
Danny appeared to have a great time with the newcomer on their date
Arabella’s first choice was Danny, who she appeared to get along with quite well during their romantic get-together.
After the hunk from Hull professed his interest in the new girl, Arabella noted how she didn’t usually date guys that were as young as Danny but she made an exception because “I feel like you’re quite mature.”
While their date appeared to be moving smoothly, Anton was the next to receive a text message, telling the gym owner to get ready because he would be next to impress Arabella on their date.
The two conversed about their childhood before Arabella questioned Anton on his grooming regime why his mother is always on hand to keep his bum clean shaven.
Yewande needed some much-needed advice from Michael, having felt as if her romance with Danny was falling apart
When Anton joked whether she would be interested in replacing his mother’s role, the brunette responded, saying: “Definitely not!”
Both dates went well, with Arabella subsequently left with the decision on who she would want to couple-up with. Will it be Anton or Danny?
Yewande certainly wasn’t happy about Danny and Arabella’s date, having shared her frustration with Amber, Anna Vakili and Amy.
“If he goes on this date and he gets on with her then that’s absolutely fine. I’ve emotionally prepared myself for that to happen because in my head I already knew it was going to happen. I have zero trust in men!”
Maura said she wouldn’t be opposed to showing Danny some affection in the villa
During her conversation with Michael Griffiths, however, the firefighter stressed how Danny had been trying with Yewande, but he simply felt as if she wasn’t giving him anything back in return.
Michael noted: “He’s been putting a lot of effort in and he feels like he is getting nothing back. He feels like he is taking one step forward and two steps back.”
Following his date with Arabella, Yewande then became irritated with Danny choosing to talk to his boys first before letting her know how the date went – but it was probably good that she waited.
Danny told the male islanders that he’d be lying if he said his time with Arabella didn’t feel compatible, but he knew that speaking with Yewande would be important – particularly since neither of them felt as if they were still in a couple together.
Anton was happy that Arabella had chosen for her second date
Elsewhere, while Maura Higgins had her eye on Tom Walker ever since making his arrival earlier in the week, the grid model realised that she hadn’t given Danny much of a chance in the villa.
The Irish bombshell told Lucie and Molly-Mae Hague that she was curious to see how things play out for the model and his situation with Yewande, insinuating that she’d definitely pursue things with the hunk if she was to find out that he’s interested.
But it seemed as if Maura already knew she wouldn’t want anything serious to develop between the two – she just felt bad that Danny was not getting any sort of affection being with Yewande.
“When I went on a date with him, I felt nothing. But he just wants a bit of affection. He’s getting nothing. We may as well crack on.”

Later on, the female islanders decided to play a game of Snog Marry Avoid around the fire pit, with Maura making it very clear: “I would snog Danny, marry Curtis and avoid Anton. But only because of the leg-shaving thing!”
Arabella certainly stirred the pot when she said she would snog Danny, marry Curtis and avoid Tommy because she wouldn’t feel like she could trust the boxer.
When asked to explain what she meant by Molly-Mae, Arabella referred to the love triangle between the social media influencer and Maura.
“It was a little bit of a dig. It’s suggesting that I shouldn’t trust him,” Molly shared in the Beach Hut, clearly feeling as if the comment was an attack on her and Tommy.
Yewande and Danny decided to have a chat to figure out how they were going to move forward
