Prince Charles and Camilla donned matching masks at the ball (Picture: PA/ AP) Prince Charles and Camilla led the festivities at a conservation charity ball tonight while donning matching sparkly masks. The Prince of Wales, 70, and Duchess of Cornwall, 71, hosted the celebrity-filled event at Clarence House, in aid of of the Elephant Family. Also in attendance were guests such as designer Vivienne Westwood, actor Douglas Booth and artist Tracey Emin, each wearing a masks along the animal theme. Camilla, whose brother Mark Shand founded the Elephant Family, opted for a white two piece for the occasion. The Duchess paired a white kaftan embellished with gold embroidery with a pair of wide-leg trousers, finishing the look with gold earrings. After greeting their guests, the couple posted for photos in their matching masks by a statue of an elephant. Other attendees’ head-pieces included peacocks, lobsters, monkeys and tigers, as well as butterflies, spiders and bees. The Elephant Family is an international NGO dedicated to protecting the Asian elephant from extinction in the wild. The event raises money for the Elephant Family (Picture: AP) It was a celebrity-filled event (Picture: Getty Images) Since its launch in 2002, the charity has funded more than 160 conservation projects and raised over £10 million through public art events. The population of Asian elephants has roughly halved in the last 50 years in the face of poaching, a growing skin trade, and demand for wild-caught babies for tourism.
