More than a dozen Pechanga Resort Casino employees picked up garbage and pulled weeds along a popular cycling, jogging and walking trail in Temecula on Monday, April 22, to mark Earth Day. One of several Earth Day activities held across the Inland region, the cleanup focused on a mile-long section of trail along Murrieta Creek near Diaz and Winchester roads, said Brian Pullen, the casino’s sustainability manager. The work was done in a pair of two-hour sessions — one in the morning and one in the afternoon.
